Excellent service, literally within ten minutes our order was placed with drinks and food on the table. Amazing, I will be back!

Been going there since high school after Saturday football practice for breakfast/lunch!!! Took my fiancé their to have her enjoy some really wonderful Mexican food. The original restaurant burned downed :(( The food truck that operates now was still on point in making CASA ALDE my FAVORITE place to eat Mexican food in/around the Austin area!!! Let's help find a way to rebuild Casa Alde a new restaurant in Buda,Texas!!!

Great food especially the Fattie (you can only eat one). The waitresses are great and the service is fast. Very nice morning brunch spot on the weekend. Oh yea...there mimosas are awesome too!!

This was my first visit at the food truck. I have been to Helen's Casa Alda back 8n the days I new Helen very well she was very kind and cheerful. My visit was nice the young lady service was also pleasant and kind. I had two bean eggs with a strip of bacon with flour tortillas. They were fulling an delicious. The salsa was great it brought back memories. Thanks for the great service, up the great work and smiles.

They have a super awesome breakfast and it's always busy. That's all I've been there for so I can't comment on their dinners. They still offer chips and salsa even at breakfast and of course I had them. The chips are fried there in the restaurant. Fun, small town atmosphere supporting a family that's been in Buda for a long time. The owners are great people.

I came here on a whim. I was told that I must eat there, and that its a local favorite. Well, I have to agree. This place is awesome! The food didn't take long to get to me. I went there around the lunch hour too. It's small and quaint, but offers a charm that only a small town can offer. I'd say this is Buda's best kept secret. I got the tamale lunch plate. It was amazing! They don't have dinner hours, and close at 2:00p.m. So I recommend you come early for breakfast or lunch!

I’ve been coming here for years after being introduced by someone who had been coming his whole life. Today was the first time I brought the family, so it’s been a while. But it’s still the same wonderful place that I remembered. And the family loved the food. The menu has expanded a little since I was last there, but the tortillas are still homemade fantastic, and the pancake was perfect and bigger than your face, literally.

Helen's Casa Alde is still my favorite breakfast place anywhere in central Texas, and I live in Austin, so that says something. I make it a point to come here whenever I’m in the area at breakfast time, which unfortunately is much less than it used to be. It was packed full of people today, and service took a while, but that’s to be expected on a Saturday morning with a place this small that is so good.

It takes quite a bit to knock my socks off taco-wise, well, Casa Alde really did. Best breakfast tacos I've probably ever had - what a lovely surprise. Trying the fish tacos soon, can't wait - maybe today!

We love Casa Alde, and make it a point of grabbing breakfast tacos here at least once every time we're in town. Chips and salsa are killer, but it's really the homemade tortillas that make a difference. Best taco is bean+egg+potato: the beans are great.

I have been eating at Casa Alde for 20 years and have always loved their tacos! They are one of the staples that makes Buda great. While the business model has changed, the heart and passion behind what they do stands strong! If you are new to Buda, I recommend the fattie, the jag, and the dude. You won’t be disappointed.

Best flour tortillas I’ve ever tried!!

Cute little breakfast spot in the heart of Buda. It’s this perfect combination of small-town Texas feel mixed with Austin weirdness. I ordered the barbacoa plate with an extra egg and it was delicious. Juicy and flavorful and the eggs were cooked just right. Cleaned the whole plate 😋

Literally my favorite breakfast tacos ever! They are amazing and you can text in your order for take out. Family owned and they care about customers. This is the only place I get breakfast tacos now because no one else in Austin/Buda/San Marcos is in the same league!

One of my families favorite places to go on a Saturday morning. The owners and their staff are awesome. The food is always delicious and the portions are great. The Fattie taco lives up to its name.

Great down home, small town Mexican restaurant! Very friendly staff will make any stranger feel welcome in Buda.

I like to go there for breakfast whenever I'm in Austin. Whether your taste is chorizo or vegetarian omelette, they've got you covered, and for a very reasonable price.

I never write reviews but had to write this one. I drive from Waco to Seguin and everywhere in between for work and haven't found more authentic tasting Mexican food than at this place. The prices are great and the staff is very nice.

Casa Alde. Been in Buda since I think 1980, and for good reason! The breakfast tacos are the best. They have great breakfast plate options too, and also lunch. A Buda classic.

You can text in your to-go order, which is great. It's like the big chain restaurants mobile app ordering, but simpler.

The Fattie and The Same tacos are our go to ones. Had the migas supreme plate the other day and that was great. Got a pancake platter for the kids and they loved those things. The pancakes are huge so don't expect to eat much more than those!

Basically, you can't go wrong with Casa Alde.

I am a regular now. If I am hungry for breakfast, I am hungry for Casa Alda. It blows away every other breakfast place south of Austin, and the serving staff is always friendly (even if they get busy). I have been here over 10 times in the last 3 months, so weigh that against any other reviews that may have had a one time off experience
