Alhamdulillah, quiet place. Dars after isha is very helpful to learn about Islamic fiqh.

We had celebrated Eid Al-Adha this year. It was beautiful and full of live and great activity for a lot of families. It was great to see the people at the mosque lit up with joy and celebration. I give thanks to all of the hard work of that day. There was face painting, a jumping castle , breakfast, balloons and slushes. It was such a good experience.

I happen to attend many prayers in this Masjid and found it a comfortable place to pray. Cooperative staff and strengthening atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We came to mughrib Salah to open our fast we were traveling si didn't know rules very well and time was short and we were very tired traveling 600 miles brother qureshi approach us very nicely may Allah gives him best reward

The oldest mosque in Texas! The imam is a spiritual gentleman from al-Azhar, and has created a friendly environment where everyone is welcome. Mostly young folk attend and give energy and positive vibes to the mosque. The mosque provides iftar and dinner in Ramadan, which is especially a blessing for fasting students who might be far away from family, and hence have difficulty preparing food for themselves while fasting. This place is a blessing for all!

Recharge yourself. Very nice and calm place to get connected with our God. If you dont know how to pray just read 100 names of Allah which is posted in front lobby. Beleive me thats make a difference in yourself. No rocket science. Make your action count.

The Denton Masjid is a heartwarming, peaceful abode of worship and welcomes the diversified Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Imam Mohammed Fouad is not only a soft-spoken, humble man but has great years of knowledge and has obtained his education from one of the most prolific Islamic institutes in the world--Al Azhaar University. The ambiance, the unity, the commitment--all of these factors should be taken into account and truly appreciated when praying at this masjid because this small-knit community welcomes everyone and strives to strengthen their faith in the name of Allah SWT. <3

ISD opened in August of 1981. The masjid floor plan was submitted to the City of Denton in December 1979 and construction started shortly after. The masjid has submitted floor plans to the city again in September 2009 for an expansion of the masjid. First Imam at ISD was Imam Ahmed Al Arafi, current Imam Mohamed Foud.

I don’t know anything about the religion. But I give a lot of UNT students rides there and they are very sweet, respectful and kind.
