Big Rips Delicious BBQ

Cute little place in the heart of Chandler Texas. We are moving to Chandler and wanted to try it out. 1st time my husband and I went there and we were treated like family. Loved the Tasha Mac sandwich. Sauce is excellent. This is going to be one of our spots to go for a good and quick lunch.

Don't let the tiny building fool you. Rips is packed with flavor. The staff is bend-over-backward friendly and helpful and the owner is just an amazing fellow. Granted anything you get will be full of flavor but we love their tacos and loaded nachos the best. They are PACKED full of both flavor and meat. The beans and sides are always hot and free too!

The family that owns Rips BBQ are amazing!! You can't find better people.

They're extremely friendly. The proportions are very large. The quality of the food is very good. Fortunate to have such a great place in Chandler Texas. Ty so very much for being such a great place to eat.

Came to visit Palestine from El Paso and found this place on Google maps. I have to say this is very delicious and a hearty portion! My husband could only repeat "not bad this is so good!" Tastes great and wonderful people! The meat literally falls off the bone! And the BBQ sauce is great with the chicken!

This is my favorite place to eat! I usually get the baked potato and it is heavenly!! And the people there are so nice, it’s all made right there, very fresh!!

No frills good BBQ!! The folks running this place are a breath of fresh air. Courteous, super friendly and appreciative to have you there. The ribs were flavorful and cooked to perfection. You can’t forget to take an order of the banana pudding - just like grandma used to make!!

Best potato salad I’ve ever had in my life and best turkey leg so juicy. Great customer service they saw me walking with my baby and offered to deliver my food to me while I was waiting for the turkey leg to finish!

Great chopped brisket sandwich, ribs, sliced brisket, and bbq sauce. Very good customer service with very friendly people. I would definitely recommend you try this place.

Pass by this place all the time. Finally decided to stop and check it out. Ordered the loaded baked potato and OMG it was amazing. It was Huge, could not eat even half of it. Owner and staff were awesome. Will definitely be going back.

A little pricey but after biting into that big barbecue sandwich you'll know where that extra money went. I also tried the buttermilk pie and it was fantastic. I plan to try one of those loaded baked potatoes next time. Definitely earned a return visit. Friendly people too.

Update: Came back for more on 2/17/22... Got the loaded baked potato... So good and the people are so nice.
