Tender Green Chinese Kitchen

My husband and I spotted this gem driving by a few weeks ago and finally stopped in to give it a try. First impression, everybody there had a smile on their face and the bartender genuinely cared you had a good experience. We wanted to try a good majority of food so we got general tso chicken, szechuan chicken, salt + pepper fried pork, and egg foo young. The food was fried to a perfect crisp, the spice levels were perfect (I like it spicy), and the sauces were so tasty. I gave 4 stars for food because the egg foo young wasn't my favorite but was still good. Overall, we can't wait to return for food, free pool, and my favorite..... karaoke!

Food is always great! I'm surprised this place isn't busier, tbh. Had Chicken Subgum, orange chicken, veggie lo mein, potstickers, general tso's, and fried rice. Orange chicken and General Tso's we're both crispy and delicious!

We ordered carry out for dinner last night and were very impressed! We have tried multiple other locations in Vancouver area and with this place the whole family was actually happy and had no complaints. Very hot, fresh and tasty! The lady at the counter said she was new and she was very friendly and polite! We will definitely be ordering again! 😊

Best Chinese around. We go here quite often everything is good. The family has been coming here for years. Can't go wrong with the pork fried rice. Lo mein. Orange chicken. Broccoli beef is our favorite. Always fresh

Excellent food freshly made. Good drinks in the lounge and free pool. Great kaoroke on the weekends and great bar staff. Dishes to try are, well anything. Szechuan Chicken, Sizzling Beef ( spicy). BBQ Pork Soup (add a little hot chili oil for spicy). Jade's spicy Hot Wings may melt your face off! ❤

I come here all the time specifically for the Salt & Pepper Fried Pork.

Is my favorite Chinese restaurant to eat at. I've never got one bad meal from them and they keep surprising me over and over again every time I order. I would highly recommend this place!

This place looks like a dive but don't let that deceive you - the food is delicious, freshly made, and affordable! FYI, there was a change in ownership a while back and entrees were often made ahead but are now prepared to order. Yum! Extra kudos for always being clean. :)

Since moving locally, we have eaten so much Asian cuisine and have been disappointed. Now, we come here exclusively to satisfy our Chinese fix! Even my picky children scarf down their meals, which is a blessing.

Honestly, my family spent the pandemic stressing that Tender Green would close its doors and are so grateful that it hasn't!

Been going here for the past 6 months and it’s our new favorite Chinese food place that is local to us. Great menu with big combo options. Is always fresh and plenty of food! Good prices for amount of food, I always have leftovers. Would definitely recommend! Keep in mind that they are called Tender Green but used to be called Blazin Asian. I seem to find a better online menu under their previous name.

OMG we order delivery every month. The Hot and sour soup is the best I have ever tasted. Sf. LA, NY, London, Denver and more. I love it. The vegetables all crunch, and are fresh. It is the best, and the prices are great we always have enough for the next day .It is even good reheated.One more thing the shrimp, and the coating are great.

We did dine in. The food was excellent and staff was very friendly, restaurant was cold. Will definitely eat there again. So good.

BEST DIVE BAR EVER! Pool tables, a big screen for sports, music machine with every song you can think of, karaoke on the weekends, and stiff drinks. Couldn't ask for more from a dive bar, I love this place! Its the people that have been coming to this bar for years that make it cool! I don't know about the food except the appetizer plate is awesome and you can have it served in the bar :)

The restaurant is very minimal and old looking, but the food is AMAZING!!! Don't let the restaurant fool you. This is our favorite Chinese food place!

Food is surprising good for the overall appearance of the establishment not looking all that appealing... Just don't get any breaded chicken, I can tell its premade then frozen and deep fried on order so it's hard to eat. The most enjoyable were the crab puffs, pork fried rice, Szechuan, and Kung pao since it is obviously made fresh with fresh veggies. Not sure how anyone has gotten sick eating here I've eaten here multiple times and never got sick. Rather enjoyed my bang for my buck.

This place should not be overlooked despite the appearance. The food is always very fresh and quite honestly better than all the other Chinese food places in the area.

Best Chinese food in the area. The location itself needs remodeling but the food is amazing!!!
