Kaufman County Justice of the Peace

This department is a joke. They send the peace officers to handle crimes and have the police officers directing traffic. Let’s not mentioned the woman who answers the phone. Her attitude is so horrible. She needs some peace. But can’t seem to find any even at the justice of peace. She is rude, entitled, impatient. Sassy and miserable. Don’t expect her to care. I mean why volunteer just to act miserable. A waste of money on the vehicles, uniforms and the money to run the department. Honestly, anything dealing with the county or city out here is trash. You can tell they were not ready for the real world when people started moving out here. They operate like it’s the 50s. Like I said, huge joke!!! Kaufman Mud 5 is the same. A bunch of old miserable ladies answering the phone at 8am with an attitude first thing in the morning. I just laugh so hard because I expect it then it happens. If you move out here, just expect to go back a few decades.

Everytime I call, no one has the knowledge that I need. They sent me in circles! Please fully train your office staff so that I won't be told to make useless trips to your office. Then when I got to the office, they didn't even know where the correct paperwork was located. Very unprofessional. I drove from Arlington to Forney twice for nothing.
