I have been going to the Wound Care center for a whole year now and Dr. McDearmont has dealt with "11" lacerations in that time. The ladies there KNOW what they are doing when it comes to wrapping wounds. I totally admire the doctor and all of his staff. They are professionals to the MAX!
NO matter how badly you are feeling, you will definitely feel better by the time you leave ++ the give you supplies so you can care for your wound at home between going into see the doctor. It is preferable to have insurance that allows At Home Health Care in between doctor visits ... Otherwise watch and learn how to care for your "Owies" with their helpful instructions. I do pretty well after so long but it is never as good as the professionals there at the wound Care Center. I appreciate each & every one there and besides being excellent professionals, they are so gentle & patient with weird patients, like myself.
