Such a nice little park. Easy to get to, right off the highway. My only complaint is they really should have some kind of park staff there making sure people are respecting the flowers for all to enjoy. Its disheartening seeing tourists trampling the bluebonnets for a picture. There are plenty of trails through the flowers. Respect the flowers so others can enjoy them!

Oh my goodness! I can't begin to describe the total beauty of this park. The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush were everywhere along the parks main route. Loads of picnic tables and a great walking path to stretch your legs. If you are going, please don't step on the flowers. I witnessed groups just plopping down right on top of their delicate flowers. Plenty of grass openings amongst the blooms. Be kind and let others have a chance to witness the beauty.

If you love bluebonnets and Texas wildflowers, Ennis is one of the best places to visit. Even thought it was a bit early in the season, we did a bluebonnet drive around Ennis and ended the day with a trip to the Bluebonnet Park. Beautiful park with little lake and fountain. One can walk through the fields of bluebonnets (try to stay a little on the paths) and take photos sitting among them. Gorgeous.

This park is very nice. Lots of wild flowers, of course including Bluebonnets. A few playgrounds and walking paths to enjoy nature. There is a pond where we did see a few people fishing. The baseball parks are nice very open. The dugouts are nice and spacious. There is a concession stand and restroom were alright but could be better. It's a beautiful place to visit and plenty of areas to barbecue and picnic.

Beautiful park during peak bluebonnet season. If you visit during the Ennis Bluebonnet festival there will be a ton of visitors and parking is along the road. There was no difficulty finding somewhere to park - just be careful.

A lovely town (Ennis) to visit if you want to see fields of bluebonnets. The bluebonnet park/veterans memorial park ( free entrance) has lots of beautiful flowers to admire and enjoy. Walk along the skinny trails, and try not to tread all those gorgeous blooms. There are more fields of flowers along Creechville Rd. Be adventurous and drive along the back roads. We sure did and found more blooms.
** There’s also a Buc-ee’s nearby to quench your thirst and to stock up on snacks.

The bluebonnets weren't quite in full bloom, but still very pretty!

A beautiful place to safely take photos in the Texas wildflowers in April. If we are all respectful and tread carefully, the bluebonnets will remain a treasure for everyone.

This place is so beautiful!! Not only is there the beautiful bluebonnets but there is also a small hidden trail to walk. The pond has interesting wildlife you can observe. Amazing photo opportunities at every turn. It is also next to a small baseball park with decent restrooms.

We were driving to Dallas from Houston and thought of doing a quick visit to Ennis being spring season. Had great fun clicking photos during bluebonnets season and festival. Great place to visit with friends, family or pets. Huge parking space enough for the visiting crowd and not much of a walk to the park. Wild flowers were all over the place and families had enough spots to take pictures.

April is the time to come to get all your bluebonnet shots! Not as thick patches like the veterans park but a great place to have a picnic and a stroll.

Very nice day at the park with some of the kiddos. Came for the Bluebonnets, but was a bit disappointed because there was not very many in bloom.
