Oakland Lake Park

They cleaned it ...added new path way new bridge looks great and it's peaceful..

Large park with walking path that goes always around a small lake that has lots ducks, who like to be feed. Playgrounds, a pavilion l, and skate park add lots of activities and enjoy from a visit to this beautiful place.

Oakland Park has a GREAT sidewalk that frames the park. Up until a few years ago, before the installation of the sidewalk, you hardly ever saw folks walking the park. Now, no matter the weather, people are walking, jogging, skateboarding, etc.

Really enjoyed a day here with my Mom and Siblings for an impromptu meet-up and meal. Port a potties were surprisingly decent to use.

Very pretty park. Fun place to play for kids and a pretty lake with ducks.

The kids can feed the ducks and play at the playground. Small excitement goes a long ways

Clean, spacious,great atmosphere for a birthday party and great walking trail.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I used to bike around the lake and enjoy the scenery. There's a really decently long walking trail that is very well maintained, ample trash cans to dispose of picnic garbage and porta potties in case you need them. There's also a covered seating area on the west side of the lake. The wildlife include different birds, ducks turtles and even some fish. The city has a very good job and I'll make sure to keep coming back for more leisurely Sunday afternoon strolls.

Nice place to walk the dogs and for exercise but This place do need restroom

This is a good place to go and take the family for picnics or BBQ. It's has a nice play area and Pavillion

Love this park! You would never believe that something so large and beautiful is actually right off of the hwy on the east side! They even have a miniature skate park/area, not to mention a pond with a fountain. If you've never experienced this park you are definitely missing out. Go check it out..you can jog on its paved paths, bring the kids to play on the playground, or bring a fishing pole and a friend to see what you might catch in the pond. Yes, it has everything there.

Love the tucked away gem here on the East side. If you haven't been yet you're missing out! They have paved trails, plenty of open space, a pond to fish in, & even a skate park area! They've got it all here.

Absolutely a beautiful Park, it's probably on about say 100 acres in the middle of your City. If you want to place to get away from this is the park to go to, there fishing, picnicking, frisbee, tons of shade trees and anything else you can think of doing Outdoors. I highly suggest you go to this park if you want to get away and you just can't drive away far enough.

They added a new trail!! Very happy about this!

Currently can't take a full walk around the park, there is a small portion temporary closed with locked gate. Nevertheless, super clean and a sense of tranquility when you visit. I love it.

In all honesty the surrounding area is a little sketchy, but the park itself is beautiful. There is some trash in the lake, but they have a mini skate park, playgrounds, picnic areas, places to cookout, and a nice walking trail. I really enjoy this park.
