Opus School of Music

Erik gives feedback in a constructive way. He’s really supportive of his students. He also personalizes the lessons. If I want to focus on a specific song that I want to learn how to play, he is happy to do that. I really like working with him. Opus is a great music school.

Our 6 yo son started piano lessons with Brandon a few months ago. It has been a great experience and a true joy watching my son gain confidence and skill in music. Brandon is very encouraging and patient with him. We have been very happy with the experience.

We are new to Opus but Justin and all the staff have been amazing with getting L started on guitar. Very helpful and open communication throughout. Teacher Justin is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. We appreciate his calm and approachable demeanor. Thank you Opus!

We love Opus! Teacher Zac is amazing and our daughter enjoys him and his music lessons a lot. She has learned so many fun musical things from him and she’s always excited for the next class!

Teacher Laura is so kind and Everett really enjoys her as a piano teacher. Very patient and friendly. She is a great piano teacher.

We have had our kids learning with Opus for many years now, taking voice and piano classes. We have done camps and group classes such as a music theatre camp and band. These have all been enjoyable, and we love all the teachers we have had. Currently, our kid is learning a lot of things new to her that are applicable to singing with more emotion to help her in singing for musicals with Ellie. It has been very helpful.

We love Opus school of music! My 7 year old has so much fun. Justin is his teacher and I appreciate how he keeps my son engaged. Justin is flexible with my kiddo and My son looks forward to music on Saturday mornings and he looks forward to learning with Justin. I highly recommend Justin and Opus school of music!

Justin is amazing! Patient and kind. My son is really enjoying his drum lessons with him.

My daughter has been taking the Superstars class at Opus School of Music and loves it. Her teacher Amanda is extremely friendly and welcoming for the young children in this class. She comes home happy and excited to tell me about the things she's learned and fun music games they played. She is very excited to continue on with the ukulele band after the superstars class. The school has been very friendly, the front desk staff always accommodating, easy to enroll in classes, is helpful with arranging makeup classes, etc. Highly recommend.

We've been very happy with Opus School of Music, especially Teacher Laura. She's managed to rekindle my son's interest in piano and he looks forward to his lesson each week. Glad we found this school and very grateful for Laura.

Instructor Justin at Opus was amazing. He was a great teacher for my 5 y/o, answering questions and keeping his explanations easy for a child to understand, redirecting my son when needed, or flexing the lesson to what my son wanted to learn about. He kept the lessons interesting and engaging.

My daughter has had piano lessons with Kassidy weekly for months now and her progression has been impressive. Kassidy challenges her just enough to motivate her and the improvement shows each week. The song choices and pace in the lesson book keeps my daughter engaged and willing to practice daily.

We love taking our 7yr old daughter to group guitar lessons with Teacher David. She always has a fun time learning about music and her guitar. She plays songs for us they made up in class that day and always come out of class happy, especially in days she can play the electric guitar. Thank you Opus and Teacher David for providing such a good musical learning experience.

Our 10-year-old daughter receives one-on-one piano lessons from Ms. Kassidy at Opus in Camas. Ms. Kassidy's lessons, homework assignments, and performance pieces are thoughtfully chosen to be the perfect balance between challenging but never frustrating. The results speak for themselves. She's made huge progress with just one 30 minute lesson each week. Our daughter looks forward to her lessons and practices on her own. Much credit to Ms. Kassidy and Opus!
