This place is our go to spot for popusas. My husband is from El Salvador and he hit multiple spots before we finally found THE ONE. Their other items on the menu are good too. The bean are amazing and their shrimp platters and tortillas are top notch. Definitely recommend to try out.

This very outdated institution has a "no frills" atmosphere, yet it is clean and well maintained. Had Salvadoran breakfast. Excellent. I'm not sure why they haven't taken advantage of the possibility to have a covered patio. If they offered beer and set up the patio, I'd eat here on a frequent basis. Will definitely return for the great food.

This is my second time here and I’ve been having a hard time with locating a menu online, that just tells me this place is a mom and pop type place and their food must be bussin. Today was my second time eating from here. The first time, my husband got us Pupusas to-go and they were delicious! Today I went to pick up Pupusas and I took a picture of the menu so I can have it for future reference. You’re welcome lol

Had an incredible dining experience at Casita Salvadoreña! The pupusas were absolutely delicious, filled with flavorful ingredients. The warm and inviting atmosphere made it a perfect spot to explore Salvadoran cuisine.

For an authentic taste of El Salvador, Casita Salvadoreña is the place to go. The pupusas are my personal favorite and the menu offers a great variety of Salvadoran specialties.

Love this place! Yeah yeah I know, it may not be appealing from the outside. But, this place is a diamond in the rough! If you like tamales, the ones they serve are some of the best tamales ever!!! So moist, and good. Now for the best part, papusas. What is a papusas you ask? The best way I can explain it is, it is like a gordita stuffed with cheese and the meat of your choice. Plus it comes with a pickled cabbage. Not all pickled cabbage I have found out is the same. The way they make it is great! So if you have passed by this place like I have for years, and never stopped by. Now is the time, it is definitely a staple!

So I live right around the corner from this jewel and it never crossed my mind to give them a try until now and lemme say I'm kicking myself for waiting this long. The food is 100% authentic, delicious, and made to order so if you're like me and place a large order please call them ahead of time. There are no heat lamps or warming racks at the Casita. Please do not let the aged exterior and sparse furnishings sway your judgement. This place is a diamond in the rough and I'm pretty sure the woman behind the cooking seasons with love and magic. Please go give them your money...you won't be disappointed.

Pupusas and Horchata are soooo good and great prices!!!

We recently bought a house in the area and I love coming here for Pupusas and Horchata. Always friendly family owned.

I ate Beans with Chesse Pupusas and I ordered a El Salvador Orchata drink. Everything they sell its damn good. I wish they wore close to home that way I go back more often.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try tonight... we are kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner!! We ordered pupusas and they were AMAZING! We will definitely be eating here again!!!

Very delicious pupusas. My favorite are the bean and cheese. The curtido has great taste, fermented and sour like its supposed to be. The platano frito with creme and beans is a good choice for side dish. Best pupusas in HEB area.

My family and I come weekly to the place. The owners are great and all the employees are so nice. The food is delicious! They make awesome pupusas!

Papusas are delicious here. I usually get the bean and cheese and jalapeño and cheese and both are very tasty.

They have the best pupusas around. They have been around for a few years and still cooking good food.

We love this place because they offer a very good and tasty pupusas, that is mostly why we go there, is very affordable.
