Riverview Animal Hospital

Without a doubt, the vets, techs and staff at Riverview are the finest veterinary staff I’ve come across in a long lifetime of owning pets. They’re also really kind people! I lucked into finding this practice when I moved up to Vancouver during the Pandemic. The location is convenient and the facility is large, clean and bright. But, truly, it’s the people who keep us coming back. I have had four dogs and three cats as patients of Dr Scott and Dr Lisa. Since we started coming to this vet, my grown children have started bringing in the furry grandbabies as well. We’ve converted neighbors and friends as well who are also amazed by the top-notch care. My animals are so well cared for and every time we come in or call, the entire staff greets us like old friends. I know my animals are cared for and respected. I really appreciate the common sense approach to veterinary medicine mixed with the latest data and treatments. My eldest dog passed away somewhat unexpectedly from a stroke at home a few weeks ago. The entire staff at Riverview has been enormously empathetic and they’ve gone out of their way to ease my grief. It means the world to me that these people take the loss of a much beloved pet so seriously. I will continue to sing high praises of Riverview Animal Hospital to anyone listening!

Always giving us and our furballs their full attention! The vet team gives excellent care and good explanations. Wouldn't trust anyone else more! As with any place, beware of miscommunications between reception and doctors.

Dr. Lisa and her staff are truly compassionate and kind people. They were able to squeeze us into their busy schedule, and still allowed us to spend the time we needed with our beloved cat. There's so much wrong with everything right now, but they helped us when we needed help the most. Our cat is at peace now.

Just switched to this vet office for my kitty and doggo. The staff here are amazing and doctors make sure to take plenty of time explaining things in a way that's understandable. They never have a problem answering any questions we might have and I don't ever feel like the animals are stressed here or rushed in and out of their visits.

Dr Scott took exceptional care of my kitty chloe. It was hard to change vets after 15 years, but she is retired now. I feel as though I made a excellent choice.

Our dog recently became ill and we called the office. The Dr. was booked but was concerned about the symptoms so he fit her in right away. He did all testings and images to help her. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to her that night. She was given the best services and even after her passing, she was given a warm blanket and compassionate care. They patiently waited until we were ready to say our final goodbye. I thought our bill would damage us but, it was so affordable considering the circumstances. I will forever support this business because of their kindness and compassion.

Dr. Lisa and the team at Riverview have been wonderful in treating our two Great Danes. I also have to thank the Riverview team for the way they treated us and our dog after she passed at home. They treated Ella with so much respect and were so kind to us in a time that was very difficult. Thank you, Riverview.

BEST Veterinariy Office I've ever been to! Dr. Onstott and her entire staff, Merilee, Jasmine and others are all extremely thorough, compassionate, and professional. I have been to 4 veterinarians in the PNW, and this clinic is honestly the nicest I've been to. My old pup got several teeth removed, and I received great communication as I was worried the whole time due to his age. I rest assured that my little old Min Pin and my Lab Kelpie receive the highest level of care from the team here.

Riverview Vet hospital is amazing. From the moment you walk through the door you feel and are welcome. Jackie has joined the staff and along with all other staff she is awesome, a great addition. We knew her in her other life. Dr Lisa did a thorough exam of Rufus' joints and did not feel any x-rays were warranted. Other clinics would have done x-rays first.

Great new patient experience! Everyone took their time getting to know our pets and their history. Also appreciated being put in a private room (away from any other pets) at arrival.

We absolutely love Riverview Animal Hospital. Dr. Scott Kepner and the entire staff are so friendly and truly care about your pets. We have two Boston Terriers and are huge animal lovers, so we take our pet's health seriously, probably more than our own health at times. They are very responsive and never make you feel like you're an overbearing pet owner. If you are new to the area or are just looking to switch vets, you really should consider this clinic.

Had gone to a WellHaven location and was unimpressed, and a friend recommended Dr. Kepner. He spent 45 min with me, noticed three things that the vet at the WellHaven location didn't even look for. So important with new puppies to catch things early! Really impressed by his patience and knowledge and grateful for this time. The Staff were also helpful and kind (like holding my dog's leash, and preparing a room for us when they realized he was nervous in the waiting room). Liking this place a lot so far!

This practice came highly recommended to me by a friend who’s opinion I regard immensely. Scott has been her veterinarian for all three of her much loved dogs, and she absolutely swore by him. After having my fair share of poor veterinary care, I finally decided to make a 3 1/2 hour drive to give this practice a try. Long story short, I loved it. Scott is a very knowledgeable veterinarian. He and his wife have been available at all hours to answer my questions, call in prescriptions, and have even squeezed my dog in for same day surgery. He has made phone calls for me, written emails, printed off information I was unaware of regarding my dogs’ health issues, and referred me to specialists to ensure my dog was receiving all of the best help and information possible. I will honestly never go to another veterinarian again as long as I can help it, and I just honestly can’t recommend this practice enough.

Oh, and last thing. Scott is the only vet I have ever been to who has his personal cell phone number on his regular business card. He has literally answered my questions while hiking in Eastern Washington. For a person who has one dog who is a surviving cancer patient, as well as a young malinois who is constantly trying to off himself, this place is both a god-send and the definition of wonderful combined.

This Animal Hospital has been a blessing to me. From emergency C-sections to a somewhat unusual need or snake bite vaccine, this amazing Veterinary Hospital has it. Lovely staff that are hands on with the animals in their care. Their office is clean and inviting. No question is too silly, I ask a lot of of questions. They always take time to find the answers. With a lifetime of dog ownership under my belt, I'm so grateful to have found this wonderful Veterinary Hospital..... for my four fabulous labs. Question is "Why can't I give them 10 stars??? Like I said ... I ask a lot of questions.

Your existence has allowed me to pursue my dream of helping previously homeless, medical needy and senior cats, and giving them a safe, comfortable place to live. Dr. Kepner has the knowledge and expertise to diagnose and treat their sometimes complicated conditions. I really feel that he cares, and the staff is professional and supportive. They are pretty nice to me too!
