Sweet Home Cafe

This is the best home cooking that I have ever eaten at a restaurant. The coconut pie with meringue topping was wonderful. The owner and staff are extra courteous and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I love this place. Food is always great. It does get busy so that should tell you something!

We were passing by during our travels and saw all of the vehicles parked outside. We certainly enjoyed the delicious southern style lunch buffet. They had a wide assortment of meat, vegetables and dessert to choose from. Nothing fancy, just good food at a reasonable price.

I’m from out of town and was traveling by myself. I was greeted by the sweetest women. The food on the bar was absolutely the best food I’ve ever eaten. It reminded me of the food my daddy used to cook for me. The moment I started eating tears welled into my eyes. I wish I didn’t live so far away. I will definitely be making excuses to come back up this way again just so I can eat here. I was expecting blah buffet food similar to what I’ve found at most buffets I have been to…but I was amazed! The food was great, just like home cooking. I felt like I was sitting down to eat at my momma’s kitchen table.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The food is always good ,the service is always quick, And the price is just grand at about 12 -$15 a person .. I highly Recommend it...

This place is awesome! All you can eat, serve yourself buffet, with many items to choose from. All home made food including desserts and drink for less than $15.00. It's a little crowded but everyone is friendly. Highly recommended.

Delicious, all you can eat buffet. All home-cooked, from old family recipes. This is the same food, and family that owned King's restaurant in Rainsville years ago. The chocolate pudding is to die for if you are lucky enough to get it when you visit. They have limited hours, and are only open for lunch is my only complaint.

Looks can be deceiving, this place is a gem. Some of the best home cooking around. So hard to believe the quality found in this small town stop. Thursday is Fried Porch, best get there early. Tender and perfectly fried, like Maw Maws cooking. Friendly staff, help yourself service, busy for the few short hours it is open. Get there right at opening or you run the risk of having to wait. Also lay attention cause you will miss it. 22.00 for two buffet lunches and drinks. Yes it is affordable and worth every cent. Favorite Thursday lunch spot. Great to bring friends from out of town and business colleagues to give them a true taste of home.
