Dothan Pediatric Clinic

Great group of doctors and nurses. Ours have taken their time each visit to listen and make a treatment plan. They are very patient with the children. Happy to give referrals and have their own subspecialty clinic with a few speciality doctors. Large waiting area actually split up by walls into a sick area, well area, and teenager area. Also a newborn waiting room in the back. Kept very clean. Colorful walls to be inviting for children.

I called and was able to get a same day appointment. Everyone was very nice and the N.P. we saw took his time to answer all of our questions.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended up having to visit a different doctors office today. It made me miss Dothan Peds so much. They do a great job from the front desk to actually seeing the doctor. The best!

We are so thankful for Dr Meghan Benak. She is so wonderful with our two boys. She is helpful, and you can tell she cares about your baby. She interacts with them the whole time. Absolute WONDERFUL doctor. Thank you Dr benak for caring for our babies ❤ it means so much!

We moved here from Jax FL in Oct 2022 right as my LO was turning 2 mos. I was able to set up a profile with Dothan Peds BEFORE even moving up here, In case something happened when we did arrive. We have had a great experience at every visit. Dr. Benak is always knowledgeable about MY child's health in a personal manner, even though he sees hundreds of children. He takes his time to ensure all questions and concerns are answered. My child has never cried over seeing him or the staff. If your child is sick, they reserve spots specifically to ensure you can be seen that day. My child was sick, we got right in and seen and came back for a check the next day just to ensure his well being. They do truly care about your child and their health. Cannot recommend them enough.

Have loved this faculty since my first born every one is very friendly and helpful and I am very satisfied with their performance keep up the great job

We saw Dr. Murray today as a new patient. Everyone from the front desk staff, nurse Hannah, and Dr. Murray were all so kind, patient, and thorough! Highly recommend and look forward to their team caring for our girl. Thank you Dr. Murray & staff!

Dr. Freeman is absolutely amazing. She has been wonderful from the very beginning. My daughter loves her. So easy to talk to and helpful. She always takes her time explaining everything to us and making sure every question is answered.

We moved to the Dothan area six years ago. After using the same pediatrician for over 20 years, it was hard to start new, but I feel my son has received the best care possible. Our primary is Dr Freeman, with our backup being Dr Walker. I am grateful for Dr Freeman's concern for my child, especially in February of this year. We had been seen in the office two or three times with the same symptoms and were sent for a CT scan. It was late when we finished, and the on-call physician said the scan showed nothing, go home, and follow up with the office. Dr Freeman called just a few minutes later and said she just wasn't comfortable letting us go without investigating further. She instructed us to go to the ER. My son was severely dehydrated and was eventually diagnosed with an adenovirus. Worst sickness he's ever had, and I'm very thankful for her instincts. We love Dr Freeman, and it saddens me to think that other parents have had a lesser experience.
If I could complain about one thing, I wish that pediatricians would take Night Terrors a little more seriously and be in a position to offer better advice than, "He'll grow out of it." I realize there probably isn't much research done in this area, but if you are a parent dealing with this, you know how unsettling it can be to get no solution.

Dothan pediatric clinic is a great pediatric clinic for children of all ages my youngest child has special needs and his doctor has done a great job helping find specialist for any needs he may have.

I am blown away by the care and concern Dr. Freeman has displayed for our family. She's always personable and thorough. Our children are extremely comfortable with her and she continues to show kindness and compassion at every visit. We are huge fans!!

I absolutely love this practice. There is always availability to be seen on the day of your call to schedule if needed. All of the associates are helpful and friendly. This practice has their own speciality clinic that specializes in many different areas. The online portal is easy to navigate which makes getting refills and communicating with your provider super easy and fast.

My kids absolutely LOVE Straussburg! They don't mind seeing other doctors but they definitely have a different shyness about them when it isn't him and are relieved when they see him the next time!

Amazing Doctor's and staff, they listen to the parents and make the children and adolescents comfortable with them. I wouldn't trust any other clinic with my children and grandchildren. Thankful to have the Dothan Pediatric Family.

This place is better than any pediatric clinic we've been to, by far! It's a huge building with a lot of wonderful doctors and they run as efficiently as a chick fil a drive thru! We see dr Ramsey and we love him. We drive an hour and come from Florida just to be seen here bc they are all so great! HIGHLY recommend!!!

This is the best pediatrician's office I've ever been to. Great staff all around. Efficiently staffed. Multiple waiting areas for sick/well/newborn. Couldn't be happier with the treatment my children receive.

We take all 5 of our kids here to see Dr. Strasburg and have been for the past 5+ years. Always pleasant, helpful and we are happy with the service they provide everytime.

Very friendly cleaned and great doctors be going for many yrs. with my children I wouldn't go anywhere else but here
