Absolute best customer service area ! It was a hour & half hour drive but I didn’t want to waste time so since I knew the car I wanted I called. They got me approved with the terms I requested over the phone. Went & did the paperwork & drove my car home. I can’t imagine an easier car buying experience.

I will never buy another vehicle anywhere else. I was recommended Carmax by multiple people, and I didn't want to deal with the long process going from dealership to dealership. They offered a little bit of everything in one place. I scheduled an appointment for a specific vehicle, and I was called by Carmax before time to get all the financing handled before I got there to save time which I appreciated.

When I got there, everyone was very friendly and professional. I never felt any pressure from anyone. The representative I worked with was great and really easy to work with. I've had some stressful experiences buying vehicles in the past, and this was the complete opposite. He was very easy going, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

After buying the vehicle, I felt like I may have made a mistake with my choice. I was having second thoughts which was not in any way the fault of Carmax. Just personal preference. Fortunately, Carmax offers a 30 day return or trade policy. If you aren't happy with your vehicle, you can bring it back and get refunded or exchange it for something else. That's what I decided to do. Again, they made it very easy and there were no questions asked.

I worked with a different associate the second time, and he was just as fun and easy to work with as the first associate. Again, I couldnt have asked for anyone better. I test drove a different vehicle, loved it and bought it. Everything was just as easy as the first time, and I am really happy I chose Carmax in Dothan to buy my new vehicle. I'll now be recommending them to everyone, and I love my new ride.

I purchased my 2014 Mini Convertible last month and the process was so very simple! When it's time to buy another car I'll deal with CarMax again! They took care of every concern I had with my car and answered all my questions about the process. If you want EASY and STRESS free, go to CarMax! The staff was wonderful to work with. My car didn't come with an owner's manual so I ordered one and CarMax reimbursed me for the cost.....in CASH! This is how car buying should be. Keep up the great work CarMax!

Update! Second purchase from CarMax and believe it or not the process was even easier than the first! They purchased my car but didn't have another car for me at that time. I did find one at another CarMax so I paid for a transfer to Dothan store. When my car arrived for my test drive the battery would not hold a charge so they made another appointment for the following day so they could replace the battery. They even reimbursed my transfer fee 😊 24 hour test drive the next day and purchased the day after that! Still doing it right CarMax!! Love my new Honda!!!

I had a great experience. My car was fairly new and in excellent condition. After about 45 minutes, Carmax bought my car for the full estimated online quote. I would refer friends and family to this company.

I dealt with several different people during the process of buying my car and I had great service from each one of them! The fact that they will ship a car to your local store, some for free, is really awesome!!

Every aspect of purchasing our vehicle thru CarMax was completed with the highest of expectations. The staff including the ones who make sure the car is at its best working condition were superb. Brandon completed the paperwork . He was awesome. The man we saw the day before he has a little girl deserves special recognition & the young lady who initially saw us does too.

Nothing but praise for your staff.. very professional and courteous. ..both times I have done business with car max I have been impressed.

My assistant was so nice on the process of walking me though process of me selling my Durango! Although I wish I could remember his unusual name but my brain is not working with me today. He was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. I will highly recommend y’all to friends in the future!! Thank you again!

The people there are very kind and down to Earth. I did have an issue with one of their workers, but it was taken care of with care. (The "problem" employee was incredibly kind, but just refused to speak directly to me when my husband was with me. One of the managers made sure to personally take care of it as soon as it was brought to light.) Brandon did a great job making the purchase paperwork a comfortable and easy experience.
The website is awesome to use, easy to see the details, what's all available, and keep up similar searches for anything new that might work. Being able to find the right vehicle is simplified with the click of a button. The app... not so much. It still needs work. It doesn't connect well to accounts on the computer. However it does still allow filters for viewing on the go to see what's in stock.
Still 5/5 on the whole experience for me. I will recommend Carmax in the future.

Was looking for a specific Hyundai. Found it with CarMax. They had it shipped to my closest CarMax within a week. Very professional. No pressure. I could have decided not to buy it. The car was everything as described. This really is an easy way to shop for a car. No tricks or pressure

This was the first time working with carmax!! I have to say saleswoman Samantha Sims was great right from the first phone call to the actual sale!!! Friendly, professional, informative,and hard working to help get the car we really wanted!!!

Secondly the management staff all the way up to the general manager Rick E Long worked hard to make everyone happy with the sale.

The few things I had questions/issues with the car were looked at and corrected in a satisfactory manner for all parties!! In all truth They actually went above and beyond for my wife and I to make the car right!!!

Though this carmax is 4hrs+ from our home we would definitely take that drive again if they ever have another car we want!!!

Easily, the best car buying I have ever experienced. Alyssa and Rodney were fantastic, eventhough they had to stay late to complete my sale. I am a very happy customer. I love my new ride and thanks to the Carmax team!

I would greatly recommend the Dothan, al location.. After 2 weeks of trying to trade in my (lease) vehicle .. I was still able to get the vehicle I originally wanted for my birthday and early Christmas present to myself.. It was my first time purchasing a car and my first-time visiting CarMax as well. My experience there was great! Cayla helped out tremendously. She was great and we even shared the best soul food restaurants in the Dothan to attend afterwards. My first experience at CarMax was better than expected. Way thumbs up since I was able to purchase a car from there!

Great experience, again, using CarMax. This is our second vehicle purchasing experience with the company, and we have been equally pleased both times. The staff and specifically the sales person we dealt with were very kind and easy to work with.

The experience was great but I had to go back because some of the paperwork was unreadable because the ink was running out. When I went to register the car I had to have paperwork faxed to the DMV because they couldn’t read the vin number. When I went back for a screw the car was missing underneath the hood the sales man said he didn’t tell me to come back to get the screw. I felt that he was calling me a lier. Unfortunately the car I bought had a mechanical problem that couldn’t be fixed so I had to go through the process again to get a new car and although it took hours it worked out for the best. Everyone I dealt with this time was amazing. I’m satisfied and I give them 5 stars. I had a bad experience with the one man but after that it was amazing

I didn't have an appt, and the time to wait for one was just long enough to go have lunch and come back to be attended to. Although this is the closest CarMax to me, I'll definitely be back if I ever need to sell my car to them. Great experience and fast for what the process allowed.

They have a great system in place that's easier than traditional dealerships.

This is are 2nd purchase in less than a year. Its just easier and at least at the Dothan location, everyone is nice and helpful. It being a 2012 it needed a few things addressed which they did. Very happy, thanks
