Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dothan North, an IHG Hotel

Very pleased with my stay here. My room was clean, up to date, and well maintained. Friendly customer service and the parking lot at this hotel is huge which is a plus for accommodating large vehicles and tractor trailers if needed by guests. My only complaint is that my mattress did not have a mattress protector on it. I feel that it is totally unacceptable in 2023 for this basic service to not be provided. It gives guests like myself who like to throughly check their rooms for cleanliness and bugs and added piece of mind. Nonetheless, this appears to me to be the best option for lodging in Dothan as every other hotel in the area that I have stayed in when passing through previously has been an absolute nightmare.

The room was excellent and the breakfast was outstanding we had plenty of room to park our boat and felt very secure

Good stay, the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was good as well.

Staff at front desk was very nice and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for better services. Everything about this place meets all requirements. Room was clean, neat and just all the good stuff. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Worth the money. This will always be my go to place when I visit now.

I really liked this hotel. The beds where pretty comfortable. It was surprisingly quit even though there was a lot of kids there. I loved the shower amenities like the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in pump bottles in the shower that was awesome. The hotel was clean and modern looking. I really enjoyed our weekend stay. I would definitely stay here again. I would suggest that maybe they add beacon to the breakfast and scrambled eggs. other than that everything was awesome. And price was not bad considering what other places around there where charging so that was a major plus.

Very nice CLEAN spacious rooms. Variety of breakfast items (fruit, oatmeal, gravy biscuits) Room services/cleaning available upon request probably due to covid/short staffed..BUT its actually quite nice. The ladies up front are so very sweet!!!! Well lit parking lot. Feels like we are safe here.. Really enjoyed this stay.

Two night stay. The room was very clean! The staff was so nice, from Regina on the phone before we arrived, to the afternoon desk clerk, then Gary the next morning who was so helpful and friendly, and last but not least, Marie the Breakfast Hostess; everyone was very nice and made a genuine effort to make sure our stay was comfortable and without issue. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is excellent! The Room was clean and when I checked-in the staff greeting me with a smile. But what made the difference was the incredible customer service: I was traveling from out of town and needed a little extra consideration and help. To the person from my initial call prior to arriving to my check in and out, everyone was helpful and nice!! Gary, a manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately I am not able to recall the names of the two ladies at the front desk but each of them equally rock! These employees were a blessing to me... thank you

Nice hotel, pretty standard Holiday Inn Express. It has a slightly older feel to the rooms, but there are plenty of outlets. This isn't always the case. The staff is friendly and breakfast is plentiful. The bed is a bit soft for my taste, but the curtains close completely and the room is quite quiet. This has allowed me a great sleep. Can't beat the price for the area when I stayed. Thanks!

We arrived late Sunday March 6th after a long day of travel. Lisa the front desk associate couldn't be more accommodating. Lisa was almost at the end of her shift and was very friendly. Lisa went over all of the amenities of the hotel including Wifi code, breakfast and check out time. This hotel is lucky to have her as an employee. The Hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be back.

Set back a bit from the road, this Holiday Inn is exceptional once you find it! We stayed in room 105 and were very pleased with the cleanliness, the linen quality, and, of course, the courteous staff. Cleanliness is top of my list on hotel essentials, and this particular hotel was exceptionally clean. You wont find better in Dothan. I actually hesitate to post this review because the secret will get out and I'll have a harder time getting a room-but they do good work and deserve as much business as they can handle. Again-you wont find better in Dothan.

The location is great, only about a 40 minute drive from the Blue Springs state park. Many restaurants/chains around. Beautiful area!

I found my room to be clean, bed comfy and all the staff was excellent. Yes, some things in the place are dated but I for sure will stay here again in my future travels

Okay this staff is AMAZING. my family all came to Dothan for a wedding, and we are a huge family that is very spread out. We wanted to all stay up late visiting but wanted to stay out by the pool to avoid disturbing guests. The extremely kind front clerk came out and told us we could stay after hours so long as nobody complained. The kids in our family got a little too loud, and when he came out we got ready to leave, but instead he helped us from being locked out. We of course were extremely quiet as we knew if we got too loud we would be inconsiderate. That front desk clerk really warmed our hearts, and we had a great night as a family. Our three days at this hotel were outstanding and they has the best hotel breakfast I've ever had and it is open an extra thirty minutes which is great for people who like to enjoy sleeping in on vacation.

After having an awful experience at the best western the night before and having to quickly find a new hotel for a family of 6 to stay at for remainder of the week, This hotel blew my expectations!! All the way from the friendly staff, whom constantly made a point to make sure we were satisfied to how clean and neat the hotel was! Also cant forget to mention how amazing the breakfast they served was! Absolutely recommend 100% !!!

Well to start out...I am from a tourist area Orlando Florida and we have high prices and low quality service compared to the holiday inn express in Dothen Alabama . The complementary breakfast was amazing along with the service. All staff workers was nice and above average. Everyone was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help you. My family is completely beside ourselves for the hospitality and service that this holiday inn express has given us. I will definitely take another trip sooner than I expected to this holiday inn express due to their high service and wonderful staff. They even went as far as I bought some Bojangles chicken and I asked them for paper plates and silverware and they opened the breakfast area and told my family to please sit and enjoy eating at a table instead of in the room including turning on the TV and allowing us to have access to everything in the breakfast room. Now that is what I call good service.

Just a good ole clean comfortable hotel with all the amenities. Only flaw was the inside of the toilet in my room.

My husband's father is in Flowers Hospital in Dothan. We booked a room for just us. Turns out my mother in law needed to rest too, so they happily changed the room to a double. After getting her settled in, I had to go back to the hospital to take my husband some things. By the time I got back, my mother in law had taken a sleeping pill, and bolted the door. I couldn't get her up to let me in. The staff helped me to wake her up. The next day, they allowed me to extend check out time. Later after checking out we had to call them again because we left some items in the room. They retrieved our items. They were kind and so empathetic! Customer service at the BEST!!! THANK YOU!
