Everything is delicious on the menu very kids friendly.
They have a bar side and a dining room side.
If you want to host a private event, they will accommodate you.
Typical Italian menu with a large wine and beer selection.
There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant. If it is full there is street parking some paid meters and some side street free.

One of our fave places for takeout. Their pasta is one of the best that travels well and their portions are huge. Also great casual atmosphere inside. Family friendly and great time at the bar (full menu service)

Tried a pizza from Sals today for the first time and it was amazing! Been living in the area about 10 years and surprised I haven’t stepped in there sooner. Tried their “traditional thick crust” and it was the perfect balance between soft and firm. The sauce recipe they use is on point too!

The thin pizza was delicious. We ordered a 14” hot Italian pizza. Well done. Just the right amount of sauce and giardiniera. The place was very clean and lively with people who felt like old friends. Our waitress Janessa was very attentive. I ordered a side salad and she made it herself with love. We will be back!

Big fan of the $6 pizza slice and can on sofa for a quick lunch. The slices are HUGE and there’s a great balance of dough and cheese and not too heavy on the sauce (my preference).

They also have a great Vodka Sauce special with sausage crumble that I recommend to split with someone or have for leftovers!

Authentic Chicago Pizza spot. Beautiful bar with huge open windows and a patio. Larger parking lot. Back room for party rentals. The antipasta salad and Supreme Pizza are great choices. They have one of the best gravy (sauce u shleps) around!

Flavorful, tasty good pizza🍕 in The 312! Great service and nice environment ... I loved the overhead music played! 🎶 I would definitely dine again there and I highly recommend you do, too!

This location doesn’t disappoint with the pasta and pizza. All ingredients were really fresh! And the staff was nice.

They are open late and the service is great. Someone always answers the phone quickly.!

The pizza is out of this world. The escarole and bean soup are to die for! The fettuccine Alfredo is bland, and the oil n garlic linguini is bland. The tortellini is pretty good, but super oily, like the stuff becomes suspended in oil when it cools.

Staff is really nice. Prices are definitely accurate.

The best pizza I had in Chicago and maybe ever. The great pizza coupled with friendly and attentive service made for a great evening. I highly recommend Salerno's to anyone who is in Chicago and wants to try great pizza. They have thin or thick crust and the sizes work for individuals or big groups. Personally I got a 10" thigh crust for just myself and it was far too much!

Good place atmosphere is chill bartender is friendly the ppl in there were all just good. they do sell pizza by the slice of that's all you want weather you just drinking soda or looking for a cold brew they got it all for ya

Spent an amazing and fun evening dining with friends here. We ordered wings, fried ravioli, and pancetta. The appetizers came out hot and the fried ravioli is a must have. The marinara sauce was very tasteful. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni noodles. The portion was good for me and I enjoyed the crispy chicken. Our bartender Michael kept us happy with raspberry vodka shirley temples, long islands, and eggnog. He was not only a great bartender but a very personable host to our meal. The meal ended with tiramisu which had a strong tasting coffee with a rich vanilla cream. I would recommend this to any people who are looking for a fun dining experience with authentic Italian cuisine. I will have to come back for another fun evening with friends.

The sicilian pizza was great. My family agrees. Our new favorite pizza even if its a bit of a drive first us, will return and make it our go-to

This place is amazing!!! My girlfriend and me go at least 1 time per week. She loves salernos pizza and I enjoy the pasta. They also have a full bar. We really love this place.

One of the best organizations family owned pizza 🍕 restaurant close to the loop 👌 🙌 Awesome know the owners been a customer for over 30 years My colleagues love this place after my retirement they still go here a lot of Tribune employees visit Salernos we love your service Mike and Family I still wish you had one in the burbs I know there is one but it's a slight different 😀 😊 👍. Had a Blast visiting a must try every one grand and racine go there you won't be disappointed.

One of the first places I went to when I moved to Chicago -- great food and great service. Felt at home right away. As I was leaving that day (Oak Park location) one of the employees noticed my front license plate was missing a screw and was about to fall off. The man told me to wait, went inside and got a screw and a screwdriver and fixed it for me.

I often go to the location near my work -- on Grand, and they treat me like family there as well. They know the table I like to sit at, and always welcome me into the place. Food and service has always been first rate. Can't say enough good about Salerno's.

We ordered the thick crust for delivery and it was surprisingly great!!! So good. Definitely will order again. Also, the thick crust is heavy so if you don’t like left overs order way less than you would for thin crust.

I had the lasagna with meat sauce and it was a huge delicious piece, loved it!!
