I have been seeing Dr. Vaughan for over 25 years. He's always been able to squeeze me in for an emergency, he has a good chair side manner and is concerned with patient comfort. After I got married, my husband started seeing him as well. He's awesome! :)

Dr. Vaughan is very polite and pleasant. He works fast and well and is always eager to accommodate Saturdays. Highly recommend!

Dr Vaughan has been great .He is very knowledgeable and friendly.He is very reasonable and always fits us in.

I have been seeing Dr. Vaughan for many years now. I have had all types of procedures performed. For the last several years I have lost several teeth and am now getting my partial dentures fitted. So far, so good. I've been very happy with his work and his professionalism. His prices are reasonable and he accepts many insurance plans.

Last year Dr Vaughn performed a root canal and the crown installation work on one of my teeth. The whole procedure was painful and the doctor was very inpatient to my complain about the discomfort. In order to fit the crown he would cut the neighboring, healthy teeth and made a hole in the crown itself too. After few months the crown has fallen off and I went to another dentist for a second opinion. There, I was told that the crown was poorly made and this is why it has fallen off, plus an infection has development in the root of the tooth, since the root canal work was not completed well. Apparently Dr Vaughn in order to save the material and his time did not clean the apex of the root and did not fill all of it with the material. Now it is going to cost twice to redo the work by an orthodontist.

Suggestion: If you read the good reviews here make sure these reviews not of the Doctors friends or family members, and make sure that these clients had the same type of work you are about to get done.

Update: I have visited an endodontist Dr Tara Roffe in Arlington Heights to redo the work that Dr Vaughn performed. The doctor was indeed polite, careful, and patient. I couldn't fill her anesthesia shots and the whole procedure went smooth. Dr Vaughn is not root canal or any other professional, so save yourself money and nerves and visit professional next time as I did.

I just called to make an appointment with this guy and he sounded extremely rude over the phone, sounded like he only cared about getting payed so I’m already knowing the quality of work is going to be bad. The reviews speak for itself.

Wife came home after an appointment and had cleaning stuff all over her face. He never rinsed her mouth after he was done cleaning.

I myself had a cavity filled by him and still experience pain in that area every now and then. A friend of mine got an infection from him after his cavity was filled.

The Front desk person who attended my call was super rude, and he was upset only because i called him again just to check if there was any other day available, and he acted super unprofessional, and his behavior was not good, specially because i wanted to reschedule my appointment, anyways i am a new patient but definitely i am not coming to this office because of the way he treated me. BAD!
