Seoul Supermarket

I am glad I found this place. I needed salted fermented shrimp in order to make kimchi and I was unable to find it in other Asian grocery stores in there area (which cater more to Chinese clientele). This store, being a Korean store had it in spades, in different sizes jars. The staff was very helpful and pointed me to the correct shelf in the refrigerated section. I also found Japanese products and it seems they also make their own food but I left it for my next visit.

Love the instant coffee! They had some bakery items that, was good; soft & have cream inside kinda taste like vanilla. The store looks small from outside but it's not so small when your inside. Great store, they mostly speak English & have the aisle labeled in Korean & English. I would recommend this place, if your in the mood to be adventurous or you know their products.

They have THE BEST kimchi! I live in Colorado, but welcome the trip back to this area for the. best. kimchi. nationwide!

We make an amazing Mongolian Beef @ The Rock Stock Café in Wauconda. Seoul is the real you of the trinity. The part God is trying to salvage. We buy our gochujang paste there. They were helpful and it feels "other" worldly, like on vacation there.😄

I love coming here, I always find what I need here. Prices are about the same I would say as opposed to other Asian grocers. I have yet to try their hot foods but whenever I do come here, which is often, I always see other patrons with hot food items. The soup seems to be popular. Service is always quick and friendly!

An excellent local KOREAN grocery market: authentic Korean food/ small housewares, reasonably priced, quite a good selection of prepared foods, such as marinated meat/fish. I LOVE the many choices of rice, esp. healthy rice grains, grown in the USA!. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

They allow me to order from there outside bakery that delivers every day by noon without giving payment till pick up! Easy in and out parking. Very helpful if you have any questions and one of there chefs and fresh sushi maker speaks Spanish and is extremely helpful and patient.
Fresh food is always available and they have a wide range of
Japanese, Chinese and Korean delicacies!!! Besides the Korean bakery that delivers everyday they also have magnificent imported teas, fruits,ramen soups, cookies, desserts, ice cream, pot stickers, noodles and a beauty section. It is Korean owned and in the same shopping plaza is a yogurt/smoothie place with various and exotic choices popular is the bubble tea also owned by these people.

There's a new sushi section in the back. They have sushi/sashimi available in the refrigerated section, and also take phone orders for freshly made sushi.

They have very good prepared foods, including soups, side dishes, and meat/fish. The place is very clean and well kept. I know some Korean markets feel cramped and tight, but this place is very spacious.

They make their own kimchi and have great chicken wings. A good source of Asian foods and produce.

Great store. Their prepared meals are restaurant quality (well, at least to this non-Korean). Delicious sushi rolls, soups, seafood pancakes and tofu. I will be back!

Love this place. If you shop here often please get the reward card... You'll thank me later! Nice ajummas who work here. And the best ready made foods. Always fresh. Awesome!

They themselves make the best kimchi! Kimchi there is even better than any kimchi I purchased back in Korea when I lived there. That alone makes me keep going back to Seoul market, but I love varaiety of good Korean ready to eat cuisine too.

Seoul Supermarket catered our Chuseok last year and it was grand! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They are definitely a go-to for Korean food!

Go to place for Korean catering! And whenever we’re too lazy to cook, we buy the already cooked Korean food in the back. So we are basically here every week lol

It was my first time there and I got everything I needed some Korean Hot Dogs some soy sauce and dark soy sauce it was wonderful
