The Old Spaghetti Factory

I hadn't been here for years and I was not disappointed. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but the bartender was chaty and friendly. Our waiter Romeo was so nice and very quick waiting on us. The food was delicious and as good as I remember. The atmosphere and the building are spectacular. The entrees include a soup or salad and a dessert. It really is a special place for families or a romantic date night.

What a treat! I'd love to come back for the prix fix on Mondays.

You get a really good portion of food complete with dessert. The spumoni ice cream was lovely.

We split a chicken parmesan and out soon had Mac and cheese. The fresh baked bread was lovely. We left full and happy.

It's always nice to find a kid friendly place with good adult food options.

Had a good time. service was a bit slow so make sure to leave extra time. Food and serving size were ample.

Our service was beyond excellent! I wish I remembered our server's name because she deserves lots of praise! The food was fabulous! I hadn't eaten there in over 15 years and it was just like I remembered!

Was just there this week with my kids and absolutely loved it. The building itself is breathtakingly beautiful. Then add the old time feel with all the decor. I would recommend a visit just to see it but the food was AMAZING as well. Our waitress was on point and went above what she had to do. It was an absolute perfect evening with the kids. Will definitely be back if ever in St. Louis again. 5 Stars in my book

This place is amazing! From the exceptional staff, eye-catching location to the great food. They were very busy and even though it was later at night, they were still working very hard to give everyone that exceptional service. Would love to come back again.

Spaghetti was good. Salad was really good. Service needs improvement. Basic things like getting drinks quickly, asking if everything is fine after food comes out within a few minutes, and following up later for desert, boxes, etc. Overall it’s a beautiful place and has a romantic atmosphere. Food tasted good.

Food was very good I only give 4 stars on all food. The wife's food is 5 star always. I need to keep eatting. The place is off a back street or what seemed to be wouldn't go there after dark. We rode the train there from the other side of the river where we camped. The arch is right also.

Staff is very friendly and kind, the food is to die for, and it has a great atmosphere. The spaghetti and butter cake are so delicious.

An incredibly busy Old Spaghetti Factory establishment for good reason too. The food was incredibly moist and delicious in a well lit seating area that resonated the building's old charm. I would recommend additional staff as the staff was quite busy due to high seating compacity.

The atmosphere and overall look inside this place is really awesome. The garlic bread they give you is just amazing and the way they make the chicken is something else. An ice cream is included at the end of your meal, nice touch. Definitely recommend!

Took my Ohio friends and their 5 children (ages 13 to 1) and grandma from Peru after the Arch experience on Labor Day 2023. It was around 5 p.m. As a party of 9, we were seated at the very back near the kitchen as that's where the biggest tables are. Jason was extremely kind to and patient with this family and they remarked how they are typically treated so poorly by service people at most restaurants because of 5 children so they were THRILLED to receive such amazing respect and service. I was worried about the food but every single person loved their dish and their faces lit up with the first taste of the unknown Spumoni ice cream. He made substitutions when possible to accommodate them. They couldn't stop talking about this dinner/service as being a highlight of their week in The Lou. Thank you Jason from California. We're glad you moved here!!

I have always loved this place! Their downtown location just has a certain something special to the atmosphere that nowhere else does. The bar is great, and the drinks never disappoint. I've been coming here since I was very little - and I always get the same thing: Browned Butter and Mizithra Cheese. It's always SO good. I bring my daughter here now. She loves the pasta, and the trolley too. We will continue to come here as long as they stay downtown!! I hate to pay for parking, but what are ya gonna do?

We made reservations, it wasn't super busy when we went. We had a great waiter named Chad he was very outgoing anf welcoming. Food was amazing! Atmosphere was great! He checked in on us, and made sure we had what we needed. My husband tried the 3 flavor ice cream and he really liked it! I suggest trying the cotton candy limeade it's amazing! Highly recommend going!!!

Also if you are staying at hotel not far I would walk! We are staying Drury down by the Arch, walked 15 mins, beats paying 25$ parking!

There were a lot of people, so the wait was really long, but everything else was excellent. Our server, Chad, was wonderful and once our order was placed our drinks and appetizer came quickly. Food was good as well

We visited St Louis over break and this place was our favorite. We will always try to stop there when we visit in the future. Lasagna, the soup, the bread, & the spumoni ice cream were definitely the way to go! Service was fast and great

I come here several times a year for the brown butter cheese spaghetti. It's my favorite pasta dish ever. The environment and service are always top notch. Love the building. Costs a few bucks to park but well worth it. Can't get enough of this place.

I will say that OSF St Louis was incredibly busy tonight. However, my husband and I had a wonderful evening and experience entirely due to 3 employees. Mike, bartender, Lala, server, and Alexis, manager, were attentive, upbeat, kind, and completely made our night a wonderful one! Despite being busy, they took the time to make us feel appreciated and welcome, and they did their jobs with smiles and good attitudes, no matter the demands of other customers at the time. Alexis was quick to jump in to help staff, and I, myself witnessed her bussing tables, taking orders, and making drinks, all to lighten the load of another team member. Mike was amazing with his recall for multiple drink orders at once and his ability to juggle the needs of the bar while connecting with each customer as the sole bartender. Lala was prompt, ready to answer any questions, and attentive to each of her tables. Each of these three made us feel like friends, their smiles cheered us, and their conversations made us laugh. In a world that is short of staff in every type of business, these three individuals are valuable employees who handled the stress of a busy night with grace, confidence, and kindness. We were very impressed with our dinner at OFS because of these three, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve!

We visited Old Spaghetti Factory with our kids before a special event downtown. It had been years since I was last there yet I was transported back immediately upon entering. The olde world decor, velvet furnishings, and of course the famous boxcar in the center of the restaurant. We were a little pressed for time, but our server Chad was phenomenal! He clearly had more than a few tables to juggle yet he was so personable, helpful with menu suggestions, and quick with our food/drinks. He made the entire experience OUTSTANDING. Food was great and portions were generous so we enjoyed leftovers the next day, too. Will definitely be back!

Food was great! Our server was awesome. She was basically running our side of the restaurant with three large parties by herself and didn’t miss a beat.
