612North Event Space + Catering

612 North is an event space located at 612 N. Second on Laclede’s Landing in St. Louis. Did you know this historic 1880s building was once owned by Henry Shaw, founder of the Missouri Botanical Garden?

It boasts three unique event spaces. Under the ownership of Munsok So, also the visionary behind our beloved Kimchi Guys and Drunken Fish, this venue has been transformed into a stunning event space.

I attended the Lunar Chinese New Year celebration at this venue recently. The event was catered by Drunken Fish and Kimchi Guys, offering a delightful fusion of flavors from both restaurants! Those lobster spring rolls were incredible.

The ambiance of the space was fantastic with vibrant red highlights and elegant decor that highlighted the festive occasion for the year of the Wooden Dragon.

The evening was filled with shenanigans, laughter, good food, and lively entertainment, thanks to the thoughtful planning and execution of the event team.

Wow! We can’t say enough wonderful things. The space itself is stunning, the views breathtaking so this set the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. My daughter’s wedding was held here and it was truly a memorable event.

However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Meredith made us feel like we were all that mattered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that made us feel welcomed and valued. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was comfortable and that every detail of the event was executed flawlessly.

This venue/Meredith stepped up when we needed them most. Our original venue closed the doors and we were left 5 months before the wedding without a venue. They were so willing to help and work with us during this time.

Overall, 612 North exceeded all expectations and provided an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event, as the combination of beautiful space and exceptional service truly makes it stand out from the rest.

Booking a venue for your wedding is such a big decision and I’m so glad we went with 612 North. The space is absolutely stunning! Meredith was amazing to work with. She mad the process very smooth and always made herself available to answer any questions. She was just as invested in my wedding as I was, which is more than I could have asked for. Meredith showed compassion and was knowledgeable with the entire process. She was also patient when I had a hard time making decisions. She dedicated so much of her time to help with the process from beginning to end. If you are looking for a venue, I highly recommend 612 North! You will walk away with the most amazing memories!

Stop searching and book! 612 North offers one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve seen! I booked them for my wedding and I’m so glad I did. Meredith was great to work with. I went in with high expectations and she definitely exceeded my expectations! I told her my vision and she delivered exactly what I wanted! The night of my wedding, she was on top of everything. She made sure I had what I needed while getting ready. Throughout the wedding she checked in with my spouse and I to make sure we were doing ok. The staff working the event were very professional and also great to work with. Our bartender was a hit! Everyone kept coming up to me saying how great the drinks were. The next day multiple guests told me the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding reception, with one friend wishing she snuck a to go box in to take all the food home. Guests were in aw over the space and just about everything else that night. I still can’t stop talking to people about how much fun my spouse and I had. Thank you Meredith and to the whole team that working my wedding!

I recently hosted an event at 612North and it was magical! The exposed brick, views of the Arch and the warm and inviting atmosphere of the space made the perfect venue for our Donuts with Santa event. The event manager, Meredith was a delight to work with! Communication was timely, the venue was very flexible and accommodating and truly cared about making it a successful event. I can not recommend 612North enough!

We held our non-profit organization's gala dinner at 612 North. We could not be more pleased with the success of the event. The event manager, Emily was wonderful to work with. All of our questions and requests were promptly responded to. The staff ensured that the event was executed perfectly. The venue is stunning with its views and architectural features. The food was delicious and plentiful. The acoustics were great for the live entertainment. We highly recommend this venue! Thank you 612 North!

We ordered Thanksgiving dinner for four and every single item was absolutely delicious! Nothing was basic, the turkey, dressing, bourbon mash, garlic mash potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin cheesecake, and even the rolls were all perfectly spiced and fantastic. It was hard for us all to pick our favorite item because we loved every single thing. The portions were perfect as well for a usual big eater group. We are anxious to use 612North again for our Christmas dinner. Highly recommend.

All I can say is WOW. This venue is amazing in each and every way. To the event management team, chefs and support staff I can’t thank you all enough for making our wedding FLAWLESS. The food was GLORIOUS, both event spaces were clean and very aesthetically pleasing and anything you need… they got you. So accommodating and friendly. The events coordinators were helpful and available. The food is excellent. The venue is well staffed. Everything was perfect. Our son and daughter-in-laws wedding reception was beautiful. Thank you so much Meredith and all the support staff.

I just recently photographed Rachael + Jacob's awesome fall wedding at 612 North, and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. The venue is gorgeous and the event staff is top-notch. It was a complex day and they were vital in helping everything run smoothly. I'd recommend this place for any couple looking for the perfect downtown St. Louis wedding day!

CATERING - I ordered through 612North's Catering, and WOW! There were only 6 of us, and we do tend to over-order, but nevertheless, we had food for everyone to take home and eat for the next few days. The portions were wonderful, and my mom even said that she could "taste the care and effort put into the meal". I cannot say enough nice things about the whole process -- from ordering and all of my questions being answered, to helping load my car with all of the food, to the food itself -- it was great. I highly recommend you use them for all of your catering needs; they do ALL THE EVENTS!

Thank you 612 for hosting our Military Base Establishment Ceremony. This venue and the staff far exceeded our imagination! The views of the Arch and the East Bridge crossing over the Mississippi were unparalleled to any views in the city. All of our out of town, as well as our local to the STL area guests continue to express their amazement of the views. Defintely a must see for any event/wedding planner or company staff organizing their corporate/private event.

To Meredith, I offer my most sincerest gratitude for helping us plan, coordinate and manage a perfect day from beginning to end. My husband and I had our wedding last month at 612 North and it was absolutely gorgeous. The venue is stunning, which allowed us to need very little decor to mess with. Our day-of coordinators, Lindsey and Dayne, were very attentive and helpful throughout the day. Madison was also very helpful for all of our questions throughout the planning process. They had good food, great bar packages, and the bartenders were very efficient and friendly. Thanks for helping make our day so perfect!

We hosted a corporate anniversary party on the 5th floor event space. The views of Arch and river were amazing, food was great and the service was exceptional. Parking was also convenient with parking located right across the street. I would recommend checking out this space for a wedding or corporate event!

They STEPPED UP! A friends wedding venue CANCELLED on them and her mother told me about it. She said 612 SAVED THE DAY. Local businesses that do great things need recognition. If Anne G says they stepped up…. They deserve every star in this five star review!!!!!!!

I worked with 612North to plan a huge 450-person event in an EXTREMELY condensed timeline, and they were PHENOMENAL! The space is beautiful, the food is good, and they offer a wide variety of affordable and desirable services. I worked with both Taylor and Madison, and both were extraordinarily communicative, informative, and helpful. They went truly above and beyond in helping to make the event successful, and when we had items that we had planned provide ourselves not arrive in time, Madison figured out an alternative and made it work without any additional charge. The event staff was similarly wonderful and very personable (except for 1 older staff member, who kept huffing and puffing at guests getting in his way). Still, one of the best venues I've worked with and would HIGHLY recommend using their services!! A+!
