We had a wonderful experience here. I love finding the places that have been open forever. You know they're doing something right. And, man, are they!! Get ready for some bacon!! They are not stingy on these sandwiches or their floats, malts, and milkshakes. All so delicious! Great service as well. We had a milkshake spill and our server was so patient and kind about it. Also tons of history in this building and the area. Check out the cool wall mural for Jesse Owens across the street.
Don't miss this spot on your next stop in STL.

Our visit to Crown Candy Kitchen in St. Louis, Missouri was a delightful journey back in time. This iconic location exudes charm and history, making it a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike. We savored the classic BLTs and indulged in creamy milkshakes that transported us to a bygone era of soda fountains and old-fashioned hospitality. Crown Candy Kitchen's timeless appeal and delicious fare make it a true gem of the city, and a place we'll definitely return to.

Super cute place. Bacon sandwich was as good as advertised and we got the chocolate malt and dreamcicle malt. Both delicious. Staff is friendly and fast. We said we were sharing the bacon sandwich and they put them on separate plate. Wonderful! Recommend coming as a party of 2 if possible.

After being a St. Louis resident for 30 years, I can proudly say I finally have eaten at the Crown Candy Kitchen. Love the old soda fountain charm and the staff were extremely friendly.
I will admit sometime i will check out a popular place and want to say it’s not what it’s all hyped up to be. This is not one. I was praying it lived up to the hype, and it did.
The BLT is even bigger in person then when seen on tv. Delicious is the only word to come to mind because I’m speechless comes out with it’s almost a pound of bacon. 5out of 5 ⭐ all day long. If you haven’t been, run don’t walk. I’m mad I waited 30 years. That’s a lot of missed opportunities to enjoy such a savory dish.

Wow!! What an AMAZING place! Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Definitely exciting to slip back in the past in the 110 year old business that cherishes their heritage. If you haven’t been yet, you need to go. We will surely return so I can get a BLT!

Update: I made it back for my second visit and got myself the Heart stopper soul pleasing BLT! Yum yum yum! My companion ordered the chef salad and was quite pleased.

Such an amazing place. Historic old building. Super nice and friendly staff. Incredible food. The sandwiches are all so good. Grilled cheese, tuna melt and of course, the Heart-stopping BLT. Simply delicious. Get here early or prepare to wait. If you do have to wait, it’s totally worth it.

First time being here and it was such a great experience, even though it was -8 degrees outside. Everyone loved their hot food and cold shakes. The BLT was out of rhis world when it comes to the amount of bacon! I even talked about our experince with a lady at the grocery store after. I highly recommend bring the family.l and an appetite.

Crown Candy was an amazing lunch spot! So fun for kids and adults. BLT & Tuna Sandwich split between two adults - delish. 2 kids split a hot dog and chips, and 1 kid had a ham n cheese. Don’t miss out on dessert! Chocolate phosphate, chocolate milkshake, fruit salad sundae were all amazing. Latoya was an excellent server and so friendly and patient.

We also got some of their homemade chocolate bunnies for Easter and other chocolate treats. We love family owned restaurant and the vintage atmosphere.

A 100 year old candy company that makes nostalgia food. The wait is sometimes 20-30 minutes, the dine in area is small (people were smaller 100 years ago), and it seems kinda touristy but it’s totally worth it. I ordered the BLT ($14) which had a pound of bacon cooked perfectly, not too crisp, not too soft. And the malt was so good it was nostalgic.

No long wait time, great customer service and friendly staff. My family and I had a good time for our first dine-in here. My son liked everything he ate as for my daughters the oldest liked the ice cream and grilled cheese and my youngest liked the chips and milkshake. Tasty food! - enjoyed every bite!

Totally worth the trip and totally worth the wait to get inside. The butterscotch shake was delicious. I brought a box of candy to my coworkers and they raved about it. They have the best caramel that I have ever eaten.

If you like bacon, try the heart stopper, which must have at least a half a pound of crispy bacon on it. Every time I am in St Louis, I go here to have the BLT heart stopper and it has not disappointed yet. The shakes are good too. We tried the chocolate banana shake.

Incredible special experience having lunch with my husband here, we shared the bacon sandwich... we both only ate 1/2 of our half sandwich it's that filling!! Shake was a amazing as i remembered ❤
Since 1913 and it is WORTH the long line you will stand in to wait to dine in. Take out is also available. The best homeade chocolate ever!!

The only complaint I have is that the bacon could be just a smidgen more crispy. I'm sure making all of that bacon isn't easy. It's still delicious. I also had a malt. If you only ever get a shake. Try a malt. The candy selection is pretty good as well. Even after waiting in the sun for 30 minutes, it was a delight, and I would do it again.

This is a neat little place. Exactly what you would expect a historic diner to look like. The service was very good. Pleasantly greeted as soon as we entered and the waitress we had was nice, attentive and the food was delivered really quickly. Our sandwiches (egg salad and grilled ham and cheese) were very good and our malts were equally yummy. Of course, we had to get some goodies to take home to the grandkids. We purchased some of their house-made dark and milk chocolate snappers and a couple of Krispie treat Easter bunnies. We will definitely come here again. Already recommended to family who live in the area.

This is an absolute must visit. We had lunch there. I have never experienced a BLT sandwich like this! That and a root beer floats will more than satisfy your hunger. I highly recommend it.

I was not expecting this place to be this cool. So many unique facets to this awesome restaurant!

The tiny booths, fun candy displays, old school table side jukeboxes! So much fun!

Plus the food was a huge hit with our whole group. 1000% kid friendly!

I had the egg salad sandwich and the Swiss chocolate sundae! My pro tip - dip your chips into your sundae… sweet and salty. Perfection!

Would highly recommend!
