The Crack Fox

The Crack Fox is an interesting place. Its decor is eccentric and so are its weekly offerings. From midnight yoga to karaoke it's a cool spot. Honestly it reminded me of a kitchy NYC lower east side bar ( this is a good thing). The drinks were tasty and creative and the bartender knew her stuff!

We've performed here a few times now, and the owner, Carrie, is top notch when it comes to professionalism. She's wonderful, creative and the shows she has hired us for have been incredibly fun. Her staff is warm and inviting, and we always love when we are invited back. The collection of non-alcoholic beverages is incredible as well!! The atmosphere and ambiance of this bar is truly unmatched by any other venue we have been in.

Awesome ally bar, amazing vibes and filled with amazing people. Danced my butt off on a Saturday night and lost track of all time. Affordable and has nice N/A options for my friends who don’t drink. Plenty of seating for a quick break and very accessible water. Also has arcade games and darts! All around great place, will be back here.

I've been a regular at The Crack Fox for the past nine years (give or take a pandemic), so it's hard to write an unbiased review... But, on the other hand, there's a reason this has been my favorite bar in town for that long.

I managed bars and concert venues in St. Louis for 25 years before I found this place, and I was immediately blown away by the selection behind the bar and the quality of their mixed drinks.
I found myself coming back time and time again because I was impressed with the staff (and because they were booking shows I wanted to see).
After a while, it was the crowd I looked forward to seeing. This bar has always drawn a friendly, open-minded crowd. You rarely see women being harassed (because nobody there puts up with that), and I can count the number of fights in the past nine years on one hand. It's a bar for people who act like grown-ups and treat other patrons with respect.

Any time someone comes to town, this is the venue I take them to (because I truly feel that The Crack Fox is the most consistent example of how great the nightlife in St. Louis can be).

For anyone new to St. Louis, or just visiting for a short while, I can't recommend The Crack Fox enough. There's something great up there almost every night of the week (from karaoke to burlesque), and it draws some of the most interesting and lovely people you'll meet in this town.

If you like to dabble in creative expression The CF is always a really good time. Amazing music! Amazing DJs- shows and really cool people😊

It's a Divebar , so no kitchen. They have frozen pizza and few other stuffs like that to eat. But , what a great collection of beer and cocktail to choose from! The place has a kinky dark fetish theme to it, and it's carried out well. I definitely have to go back and check their live stage nights.

This atmosphere is amazing and it has became my go to spot , I love the fact that I can go here by myself and still feel the effects of going out with friends …… the ambiance is emasculate and I just fell in love with the owner and staff , she’s so welcoming and wants everyone to enjoy their time. I will definitely be back.

Well what in the good got damn. I didn’t barge in here looking for fun, but it sure found me.
Patrons and staff alike, you rule. You make me wanna bust out my trombone and mess up the night bird solo.

I was truly touched (metaphorically) by every person I met at this joint on a Wednesday night.

I’ve done karaoke many places all over the country, and this is my favorite ever! Great environment to sing, amazing staging and sound, and the host does a great job running it! If you sing, come here!

Didn't try the pizza but it looked good. This place is so welcoming. If you love karaoke it was a great place for it. So much fun! They have infused fruit flavors and they are yummy.

It's a dive bar with velvet ropes for their new patio. Queer friendly and the only place I go out to when I'm in town. Lots of quirky and fun events and shows. Lots of NA drinks and beers and friendly staff

Had a great time at boolesque! Will be back again for one of their other events. The sangria and the blueberry lavender bourbon drink were to die for!

Update: Recently went to faeded. It was very busy, so we had to wait but it was wonderful as ever.

Went here for an event and it was a great atmosphere with really delicious specialty drinks. Can't wait to go back sometime to see a show!

The crack fox truly is a home away from home! Better than the old sitcom Cheers! Carrie and her team serve up great drinks and there’s always fun things going on, in addition to friendly faces.

We had a really great time here. It was a small but welcoming atmosphere. Bartenders and all staff were very friendly. Prices were reasonable and pizza was really good

Had a great time. Just went because it was closest bar from where we were at. It was a chill & laid back atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Great drinks & beers. Will definitely be coming back.

My favorite bar in town! Live happenings almost nightly from drag to burlesque, karaoke on Tuesdays and Fridays, and my favorite event IMPOSSIBLE TRIVIA on the first Thursday of the month hosted by Googz/Googolplexia! The staff are friendly and, like the clientele, endlessly interesting. Self-dubbed as a place of “misfit toys,” The Crack Fox is a great place to spend an hour or an evening, with specialty cocktails and delicious mocktails/zero-proof drinks (try the Italian sodas!), genuinely good pizzas, and splendid company :)

Great place for live entertainment! The cocktails are creative and incredible. There is a wide selection of NA drinks as well that are delicious!
