Garibaldi's Italian Eatery

This past August marked the very first time trying this venue and had a pleasant experience.

We just happened to be in town so I figured why not? At first glance walking in, automatically fell in love with the retro vibe, my old man would definitely love it here.

Really good extensive all-around menu from Italian, Chicago grill grub, pizza and other familiar bites.

Prices remain fair with friendly customer service in a clean classic retro atmosphere. My wife & I enjoyed our food as well as our boys.

We live in Beach Park up in NE Lake County so not sure when we'll be back in the area but whenever that may be, could go for some Garibaldi's.

I'm aware that this is a local limited chain with another location in Hoffman Estates. Not sure if they're both owned by the same person or people but either way I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

First timer. It's really neat & welcoming. First, the staff is super friendly, especially Vinnie. You can tell he loves his job & loves the customers. That's huge nowadays. When a restaurant cares about their customers, you know they care about the food. Great pizza and the seasoned fries - yummy! Who would of thought pizza & fries together would be good? Check it out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

The thin pizza is the best I’ve ever had - at the Hoffman Estates location, here it’s 80% as good, crust a little stiffer and just a bit less good. I’ve been to NY, and many other thin crust spots around the globe and the Hoffman Estates Garibaldi’s thin crust is da best imo. Other menu items from the extensive menu are quite good in general. Good self serve beverages and a good eat-in setup.

If you're looking for a hole in the wall dive spot with amazing food and cheap prices, look no more. Upon entering this location that I have driven past easily 50 times over the last 3 years I was sent back in time to the 40's and 50's. First and foremost this place is CLEAN! Usually in hidden spots where you don't see a lot of traffic they tend to be dusty and dirty, not the case at all here. The service was fast, pleasant with a smile on their face which is hard to do when working in the service industry.

I got the Italian Beef (chicago staple) with sweet potato fries. My partner got themselves a patty melt with cheese fries. The Italian beef was beautiful, all to common I run into the issue of them being too dry or soaked in juice/gravy. This was in-between, dry bun with juicy and flavorful meat. The fries being sweet potato I figured would be a little over cooked, but not here! The patty melt had "amazing rye bread and was super flavorful, with a ton of juice but not runny." The cheese fries though are what sent us both over the edge. Don't order them expecting that cheap nacho cheese sauce you get from most places... this was real, dense and flavorful cheddar cheese. We will be back.. again and again and again. Can't forget the super cheap beer!

Garibaldi's is not my go to pizza place, but there are times when I get a hankering for their Pizza and it hit's the spot every time. The product is very consistent, the slices are huge. I remember when it was in Town and Country Mall back in the day and they had a guy tossing dough, it was pretty cool. I kinda miss that old mall. Anyway, yes, I recommend this place.

Stopped here randomly and was pleasantly surprised, nice selection of menu items, great tasting food, generous servings, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Will definitely return in the future. Beef sandwich was very good.

I have passed by this place without every stopping by, until today! Great food, I got a Philly cheesecake $8 sandwich & a slice of pepperoni 🍕 pizza $5. My mom got a grilled chicken breast salad $9. I heard of online orders & take-out, while I was there. They have a HUGE menu, next time I tried the spaghetti with meat sauce pretty good. 😉

Had a philly cheese steak which was really good. The chicken tenders were awesome, lightly breaded very moist, highly recommended!

I hosted my son’s baptism party there this past weekend where they sectioned off a part of the restaurant for us. There was plenty of room for our party of about 30 people. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had preordered off their catering menu and they had it set up buffet style for us at the time we requested along with the necessary plates & utensils. We ordered salad, pizza, gluten free pizza, beef sandwiches, and Italian ice quarts. The prices were decent, the food was plenty, and the restaurant was clean. It was overall a great atmosphere & vibe!

Super cute decor and friendly staff. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Loved the sweet potato fries. The Italian beef was tasty and very generously covered with sweet green peppers. My husband had the pizza burger and really enjoyed it with the fries. We would definitely recommend eating here.

I took my son to dinner to thank him for some help he provided me. We decided on Garibaldi's. It is a nice place. They have a faily large menu. I choose ravioli, my son choose mostaccoil. We also added breaded mushrooms.
You place your order at the counter then the call your number when it is ready. Food was ready in a short time. It tasted good. Nice decor. Both tables and booths available.

Really good food. The owner (I think) was friendly and welcoming. Great interior and atmosphere.

My first time to order chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and I enjoyed it. Chicken is tender, cheesy and the sauce is just perfect for my tastebud, not overly salty. 👍

Online takeout was so good and simple from Garibaldi’s yesterday. Their sub sandwiches are seriously underrated, a simple turkey sub with hot peps was certainly a surprise. My dad’s meat lasagna tasted as if it came from an Italian grandma’s kitchen.

If looking for something else than just pizza give these other menu items a try!

Sausage pizza was excellent! Pepperoni was good too.

I stopped on the way home from a full day of delivering Amazon pkgs. I wanted actual pizza instead of frozen take home from the grocery.

I was not disappointed. Got my wife a gluten free pepperoni and myself a Texas BBQ with pineapple and LOVED it. It wasn't the best I had ever had, but darn close. The staff was super accommodating as it was getting late for them. I also got 2 specialty salads and they were amazing!

Give it a try !
