The best salon in the Northwest suburbs. Located in Prospect Heights. Ask for Magda. She is great with color and cut. Also, Joanne and Kathy. All are experienced. Nancy, their nail tech is awesome. I love this place and believe in supporting my local businesses.

I came to the salon to get a haircut. Margaret did a fantastic job made me feel like a new woman.. The salon was very clean and the staff there was very friendly. I will be going back there again.

Magda has been treating my hair since 2018. She has always found the perfect matching color for my highlights. This salon uses high quality Aveda (plant based, low harmful chemicals)I give infinite ⭐ for customer service.

I have naturally curly hair which needs to be dried and styled a little differently. I had my hair cut by Toni Marie and she was very open to hearing what needed to be done to reactivate my curls. Because of that this was the first time I walked out of a salon with happy, frizz free curls. I love the cut, too. The salon was relaxing and all the ladies there were very nice and welcoming.

Magda cut my hair. I have rather thin hair and she did a great job shaping it so that I could get some volume. Very happy with my experience at Catherine John’s.
