Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD)

Everyone was nice who worked at the airport and got through tsa instantly. Allegiant staff were also friendly. Overall nice little airport and way easier than O’Hare or midway. would come back even though it’s an hour drive and I’m closer to both of those airports

First time picking someone up at this airport. Easy to find with well marked Parking and a free Cell-phone Parking lot.
One terminal takes away the 'where do I need to go' question.
There is no covered parking available.

Absolutely the best airport experience. The check-in process was easy and customer service was pleasant. TSA took a total of 5 minutes. The gate was clean and comfortable.

It is always a beautiful ride in.

Super easy to find & navigate the airport bc of its small size. Parking was cheap ($57 for 7 days) and anywhere you park in the lot is only about a 2 minute walk in. Ticketing gate to get baggage handled was the longest wait about 15 minutes but security was under 15 minutes. Traveling with two small kids alone, this made life so much easier. Would 100% travel out of this airport again if possible.

Most recent renovations to the Greater Rockford Airport Authority are beautiful. They have really expanded the main terminal. Very open and bright. Looking forward to our next flight out of Rockford.

Love the ease and convenience of Rockford airport. We flown for several years and am now using several times a year to Punta Gorda and the airline and both airports are excellent.

I would pick someone up or leave from this airport any day rather than deal with ORD madness! It's absolutely tiny, yet incredibly efficient with nothing but kind and extremely polite traffic officers. What a dream!

Rockford airport was better than expected. Helpful employees, smooth process, not super busy.

There is a place to buy food (when it's open)...that wasn't clear before we went & I couldn't find any info on it.

Easy access and parking, friendly staff, I will be using this airport anytime I can find a flight to my destination. Highly recommend it to all.

Extremely easy to drop off and pick up people for travel. It also has a convenient cell phone lot connected to the property.

A nice easy airport to fly in and out of.
Parking is very reasonable. $7 a day or $10 valet 1st 2hr. Free.

Well the reason I was there because of car rental. Even though the airport is small compared to other airports . It is well designed for what it needs to be uses for. Fyi this airport is ranked 14 on list of most busiest. Which kinda cool reason is because of the ups processing facilities meaning a lot of cargo flights.
