Wait for food was kinda long but worth it. The service and ambiance were wonderful. The music was also good and at a nice volume, playlist was awesome. Brought my parents so that’s always something I notice (when the music is too loud). This take on Filipino food was delicious, highly recommend and glad there’s some in the area now! My favorite was the spicy pork belly rice and the Manila Dreams cocktail. The NA Filipino lemonade with calamansi was also very good and refreshing! Don’t forget to get the Ube cheesecake too, much better than others I’ve tried! 🇵🇭✨❤

Wow, is an understatement. The food, the drinks, the service. Everything is spectacular! My husband had the Filipino Half Chicken Adobo, and it’s hands down one of THE best dishes in the Rockford area. The bartender made me a mocktail version of their Death in Paradise Margarita (pictured) which was perfection in a glass. The staff were also so friendly and knew the menus inside and out which was great for recommendations. Don’t sleep on this place. Make this your next date night, night out with friends, happy hour…just go!

We were here to do some remote work. Has an indoor / outdoor seating with shade. Staff was good, the place was clean, and so was the food. Chill environment whether you wanna work or just hangout for the afternoon.

Seriously the best food in Rockford. It’s hard to make an impression on me and this is seriously one of the best restaurants around, definitely a hidden gem. The atmosphere is incredible, the bartender is extremely welcoming, and the food is INCREDIBLE. 10/10 definitely coming back, and highly recommend this to anybody looking for a good bite in Rockford.

Octane catered our private party and it was outstanding! The food was incredible and beautifully displayed! The staff was everywhere and nobody had an empty drink. In detail, the Thai Noodles were delicious, the chicken skewers disappeared quickly, everyone raved about how delicious the bao were, and the desserts! Cheesecake bites to die for, and a decadent chocolate-coconut cake pop.

I have always enjoyed eating at Octane, but they blew me away with this party. The price was right in line with our budget, and Emma, the manager, was a delight to work with. Six stars out of five!

Our server Jaime was super friendly, helpful with the menu, excellent service. We loved our cocktails! They were perfect! We got the bao appetizer, so delicious…Mac n cheese with broccoli, super tasty. We had a great meal, thanks Octane!

The BEST service ever! I proposed on Friday and the hostess, our server, the bartender, and owner were all in on it. They made the magic happen and I couldn’t be more grateful. And the burger over arugula was incredible! I love how the chef is willing to make the food fit your requests. I’m Keto and she’s vegan, which sometimes limits our options. Octane, though, works with you, tweaking the ingredients when they can. Highly recommend!!

Nice little bistro in Rockford's downtown area. The Mac n Cheese is amazing - I got an order to take home after seeing my friend's dish 😍. Seared tuna salad was good but left me hungry. Cocktails menu is 4 pages long even before you get to beer choices - we had the Espresso Martini for $8. Enjoy!

If you like hidden gems this is a must! Delicious food and unique well mixed cocktails. They also support the local communities art, which they display and have available for purchase.

Visiting from out of town & decided to eat at Octane after seeing their great reviews and food options. The place lives up to the hype! The vegetarian & vegan options are plentiful, truly a menu for everyone! I had the spicy Buffalo cauliflower bao buns and they were *chefs kiss* perfection! The service was also amazing, the waiter & bartender were very kind & attentive. Highly recommend!

Stopped in again, it's been a bit. Twisted Mac is a must try dish! Absolutely excellent tonight! Simon was my server and did an excellent job. Very attentive and polite! One of my favorite places to eat in downtown Rockford!

SO IMPRESSED! The drinks were WAY TOO YUMMY and we kept ordering food because it was so good! Definitely a must-try!

The "modern TV dinner" is literally one of the best meals I've had in years! Delicious flank steak, perfectly cooked potato wedges, and awesome creamy corn. I haven't stopped thinking about this meal in the week since I had it!

Great spot for a bit of random mixed asian food we had the Thursday ramen and it was amazing. Service was great and a nice environment for dinner and drinks.
