Wilmington House Restaurant

Stopped in for the catfish days and tried the broasted catfish fillet dinner. Very well priced and came with soup or salad and an ice cream of choice. The meal was excellent and the staff is very professional and fast. One of my favorite places to eat my favorite thing being, that I never have to wait long for the check. That seems like a little thing to some, but that type of attentiveness is not often found elsewhere.

My wife and I just went here for the first time after living here 9 years. What a wonderful dinner experience. I had the senior liver and onions and my wife had the roasted turkey dinner. Delicious and so was the chicken dumpling soup. Had a great waitress who did a great job. We will be coming back to this delightful neighborhood eatery. Thanks. Dave and Deb

Hoy turkey was great with real turkey. Very friendly server. Prices reasonable. My chocolate cream pie was great.

Being Route 66 is a cool things. What is not cool telling your waitress you want lettuce, tomato, mustard, ect on your cheeseburger and not getting it. It was offered but no follow thru.
I had the BLT Club and it was fine.

I hadn't been here in over 10 years, mostly because I remember it being dirty and ugly inside. They must have remodeled at some point because it looks great now and was really clean. I was there for weekday breakfast and the food came out quickly, was pretty good, and is priced affordably.

My wife and I have only had breakfast at the Wilmington House Restaurant, but several times. I will give the restaurant 5 stars. We have never had a bad breakfast here. The food is very good, the waitresses are always very pleasant and the atmosphere is very laid back. The prices are very reasonable. Great place for a quiet breakfast.

Tell ya right now the fries walleye or steak stir fry are the way to go! Always nice here

My husband and I both had fantastic, delicious skillets. The restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly, however service was very slow for only having 3-4 customers in the restaurant.

This is a really nice family restaurant. The food is great.Prices very reasonable. Staff is very attentive & very friendly.Would deffinately recommend this place.

This was our first visit and it was a very Good breakfast. I must say though the service was impeccable! The host/busser and the most important bringer of coffee was absolutely as pleasant and sweet as can be. Our server was spot on quick and very nice. Thank you for a nice morning out to breakfast.

Great chow. Enjoyed the Wilmington historic artwork. Waitress was great. The southern fried pork chops were the best!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Food, quality and service are hands down the best around. They are always so accommodating for our 2 year old grandson. Highly recommend!!

The food was excellent! I came with a few friends for lunch,before we went to the antique stores! I had the chicken 🐔 and dumplings 🥟,gyro 🥙 sandwich and fries 🍟🤤😋! Everything filled me up for the entire day! Our waitress was wonderful and so polite and friendly! I'll come back the next time we are in town!

Nice family style restaurant on the old Route 66 corridor. Good food prep and timely. Had a simple two egg breakfast, bacon, hash browns and toast. Nothing fancy but if you cannot do the simple things well why try other stuff. I was wonderfully served and had a nice breakfast! Will have to return again for a skillet breakfast since those are my favorites! Well done and I recommend Wilmington House Restaurant!

Used to be a Chickadee die hard fan, but found that they were closed on Wednesdays. The family came here on a whim and discovered we may have to visit more regularly. Thank you for the tasty food.
