The sandwiches are exceptional!! Everything is a la cart, and the soda is only canned. Definitely grab a cookie or scone, yummy!

This is a hidden treasure. Amazing rib quesadilla. Great people, warm cozy atmosphere. The scratch made cookies were yummy too.
I took chilly and cookies for our warehouse team too. Definitely recommend.

Always a place for a great lunch in a relaxing atmosphere by the fireplaces. The food is delish. Being celiac, they have gluten-free options. I have never had any issues.

I love coming here in the morning to relax. HearthRock Cafe has such a nice atmosphere and the barista is such a sweet lady. I've always felt like I'm greeted and served as if I'm visiting a home. Thank you for the great meal! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Cozy spot to have a good meal while dreaming about decorating your home! Though they offer take-out as well, which is what we did this time for Rockford's restaurant week. We tried the Cuban and the ribs quesadilla. I loved the smoky flavor of the meat in the 'dilla and would give it a thumbs up. Friendly service as well!

Nice atmosphere. Nice to study here. Nice to have a simple date. Nice to just hang out with a couple friends for coffee. Calm earthy atmosphere. And by the way, you must, absolutely must, buy their chocolate chip cookies and their toffee chocolate cookies. You won't be disappointed! Buy em! Buy em now! Buy lots of em!

The wife and I, born and raised here, are trying new places to meet for lunch. I was very pleased. I wish they had fountain drinks, but I did get a hot chai that was very good. I strongly suggest the Reuben sandwich. It was sweet, very tasty, but a little thinner than usual. Still, I would stop here again.

This is a beautiful cafe with a down home feel. The staff is friendly and inviting. The food is inexpensive and delicious.

It’s worth going out of your way to eat here. Delicious food, clean and relaxing atmosphere. It was as if my sandwich had been made special just for me by a friend, that’s the level of attention to detail here. We found HearthRock on a cross-country drive and chose it, honestly, because of the cool name. We were blown away by how nice it was. We’ll go out of our way to come back!

First time visiting, my first impression is how beautiful this place and overall service and delicious breakfast! Good vibe for meeting one on one. Will definitely be back there again.Made reservations, was seated immediately. Buffet was delicious and plentiful with great service! Got the Cuba, so good. Counter server was super sweet too! Its a gem in an area of Rockford we don't think of for yummy cafés.

A hidden gem residing on the 2nd floor of Benson Stone Co. Their espresso is amazing. Actually everything I've tried there is: the spice lentil soup, the veggie sandwich, the chili, the apple walnut salad. Cool atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.
