A J's Hotdogs & Gyros

My son almost inhaled the ribs. Gyro plate was pretty good. And my daughter loved the corn dogs. The guy at the drive through was pleasant and even double checked the bag before giving it to me.

AJ's restaurant is a must-visit spot on Route 66. They serve delicious hot dogs, gyros, burgers, quesadillas, and chicken sandwiches at affordable prices. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat.

Always nice staff, fast service, a lot of food for your money, orders are 99.9% correct all the time. The line can be long, but service is pretty fast. They have a great system going. Always enjoy their food. Keep it up AJ's!

Went to lunch by myself, trying to enjoy my day. The lady at the drive thru was so friendly and seemed to have a genuinely kind personality. She even wrote "have a good day! :)" with a smiling stick man on the top of the ranch container that I ordered. It's the little things. And the food, good as always just order your fries extra crispy and it's perfect. Great experience today. I may call a manager and compliment her.

Excellent menu for a venue that's been a part of Wilmington for years..convenient location right off the river on old Rt. 66.

Nice and cozy, great menu, easily spotted from the road. Has a drive thru, clean place, friendly staff. A must do if you're passong thru Wilmington.

No need to reinvent the wheel. Just make great tasting American comfort food like they do here. We couldn't even finish all of our fries the portions were so big!

On rt66, these guys keep it clean and fresh food. Gyros,beef,hot dogs and a fantastic menu! 5⭐! Bathrooms are clean. Ever so often a hot rod or custom vehicle stops in.

Great food and cooks we go there alot

This place has been around since I was a child and it is soo good. I am so glad they haven’t changed much on their menu. Their broccoli soup is so good. Their gyros are a must try. The fries omg. So reasonable in price has all your delicious fried food options. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed no matter what you get from here.

One of my all-time favorite spots. It's a good hole in the wall sort of burger joint that amazes me with the variety and quality of food they serve. Their euros are great, their burgers are great, their chili dogs are great, and their fries are especially good. It would be a missed opportunity to go to AJ's and not try out a bag of their cheap yet delicious classic fries. I've never had a bad order here.

Mom and I got Italian beef sandwiches, and mozzarella sticks. She hasn't had a beef since she moved to the south in 93. She really enjoyed it. Mine was delicious too!
