Awesome Ice Cream

We decided to stop and grab a cone after a bit of a detour home from dinner with the family and we were more than happy with our first visit to Lickety Split. The staff was super friendly and patient with my two children who were a bit wound up during the visit. The Ice Cream was superb and there was an awesome selection of cones available. I will definitely be going back if we're back down near Wilmington.

Sooo glad we stopped after our hike at Midewin National Tall Grass Prairie. The ice cream flavors were very original with a few classics thrown in for good measure. Whether you do scoops in the waffle cones and baskets or the over the top sundaes there won't be disappointment. A wonderful little pit stop on Old Route 66. I had the chocolate dipped waffle cone filled with Eskimo Kisses. The no sugar apple is like eating a scoop of pie. We'll be back.

Ice cream place in wilmington...great ice cream with quick service

Amazingly cozy little ice cream shop! Great flavors & you can even sample them. Wide variety of cones to choose from. Very welcoming & friendly staff, so hopefully you tip them! Looking forward to going back again sometime. Well worth the drive!

We went here for the first time last night and had the BEST experience! They let us sample whatever ice cream we wanted and had great customer service. They did accidentally give us a small instead of a large but quickly fixed the mistake. The man who seemed to be the boss would not take no for an answer when we said it was okay, he wanted to make the customer happy! Oh, and the ice cream...DELICIOUS! An awesome place all around.

They have some of the best ice cream around. I would rate it better than Coldstone and that is saying a lot! Today I tried the Ice Cream Nacho and it was delicious. Wish it had more strawberries though. My husband loves the Strawberry Shortcake ice cream with fresh pieces of cake and tons of strawberries. Unique flavors are also available today we tried Anniversary cake batter ice cream and Yum! I love this place and will continue to come here for years to come.

It's a great place to get an ice cream cone. Many varieties of hard serve and soft serve. It's small inside but the way they have it set up to make it easy. After ordering you go outside and they call your number and pick up at window. They also have sundaes, cheese popcorn, floats and a variety of cones to choose from. Well worth it for a nice treat.

Another awesome ice cream place. Old building. Limited space, but the girls are great the selection is awesome!! I loved the coffee ice cream with actual chocolate covered coffee beans. Great place for summer night treat under the stars. No indoor seating available.

Stopped through while traveling home with family after our week long vacation. Better than expected!! My husband had the largest banana split We'd ever seen and it had at least 4 flavors of ice cream, peanut butter cups,brownies,pound cake and other treats stuffed in there! Absolutely delicious,the strawberry lemonade freeze was delicious as well. My boys had sundaes and enjoyed them. We'll stop through again

This place was so friendly and welcoming when we came in. It was our first time trying it and we will definitely be back. Girls were so nice and the cake cones are to die for....very good ice cream. Highly recommend this place!

This ice cream joint has a quaint and attractive small town flair. Enjoyed our experience here. Took our grandkids out for ice cream. They loved it! So did I!!

Best place within all of our towns! It's busy but it's always worth the wait and everyone is always super nice never had a bad thing from there ever!! They have some awesome soft serve too.

The ice cream here is amazing. There can be a little bit of a wait at times, but it is totally worth it. Try the happy camper, but call first it's a quick seller!!
