Beautiful park. Was there for my 2yr old cousin’s birthday and it was very nice. My niece used the pavilion, they grilled, played bags, and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. I’m already planning a trip back with the family.

Pretty place on the island on the Kankakee river. You can drive onto the island. The Wilmington dam is located there. Lots of little shops and restaurants nearby like Nelly's and the Launching pad. Burgers, dogs, shakes, etc located off of Route 66. We enjoyedoursekves on a Sunday afternoon!

AMAZING! BEAUTIFUL! CLEAN FROM GOOSE/DUCK POOP AND DOG POOP! This was the first time that I brought my dog there and she loves it also. Got to stick her feet in the water.

Not crowded. . decent playground equipment. Always a nice breeze coming off of the river. But please DO NOT EVER GO IN THE WATER at this park.

I've lived in Wilmington all my life, and the parks are nice but please stay away from the dam and don't go on the water.
