Five stars everytime! Hands down our go to spot for a great tasty meal! Service is always great as well.

Wish there were more booths, the tables are so low it makes my back hurt and it makes it hard to eat soup without making a mess.

That said, this location always seems to do a great job of nailing our order. Very good service tonight!

Excellent experience. Customer service was top notch. Salad was great, bread was warm and my seafood Alfredo had so much seafood in it, it was amazing!!! Other Olive Gardens skimp on the shrimp and oysters. This one does NOT. I highly recommend this restaurant. It also was surprisingly dead when I was there. Let’s keep the good restaurants like this one profitable and in business.

We just moved here from Florida and the Olive Gardens there are Wirth a 3 star as the food is very bland. Here it is wonderful. So glad we came tonight.

My waiter was amazing his name was Micheal and he was very very nice amazing service, and the food is bombbbb love the chicken Alfredo

Enjoyed a nice dinner with my family my daughter was able to choose from the children's menu and my boyfriend enjoyed wine. Im pregnant and my food was delicious 👍 no complaints. Staff was a younger crowd but still pretty attentive. Only thing is keep asking about waters.

Love this place! Be early, though, because this place is always packed at dinnertime! Great salad, bread sticks, and fabulous chicken parmesan. Wonderful, attentive server as well. We went on my husband's birthday and got a free dessert as well! 🍨😋

We loved the service here and their food was very comforting! The ladies that waited on us made our experience very pleasant and smooth. They are awesome! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and left very happy! Thank you guys:)

Amazing place with amazing staff. Definitely worth going and ging again. Food is wonderful and portions are large. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Very much recommend.

The food was good. Our server left and had another server take over. Once she checked on us, our meal was better and faster, but we were sitting without food and drink for a while.

My husband and I celebrated his new credential for work. I had endless soup, salad, breadsticks and he had the endless pasta! Every single thing was perfect. The food presentation is perfect and the gnocchi is outstanding. Top it off with amazing service and a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend

Been back a few times since last review finally got the server we had from this original review. His name is Michael and yet again a fantastic server! My husband and I will be requesting him if he is working when we go back.

Wish I could remember our servers name but he was great a couple weeks ago. Food was great and he checked on us the perfect amount. Very polite.

The chicken Parm was great but omgosh@the chicken and gnocchi soup🥰 was awesome!!!

I stayed full the whole time I was there and had plenty to take home and eat.

We had the most amazing waiter, really went above and beyond aside from great base service. Haven't been in to this location in a few years and it was still the same good olive garden experience you hope for when visiting a chain.

Food and service were excellent. Family with several very young kids came in before we were done eating.... caused a lot of stress from the screaming and flying debris. Not the fault of the restaurant... but for sure impacted the atmosphere and outlr experience. Otherwise.... highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good as per usual. I went with my partner. I got the crispy chicken Alfredo and he got spaghetti and meatballs. Very fresh and manager, server, and host were very kind.

This restaurant has become a staple for our family nights out. With our two little kids, the hosts and wait staff always have fun with our visit and the kids are always happy.

Over priced for food that seems just adequate. With that said, there was a short wait time during the dinner hour, less than 10 minutes, the wait staff was friendly and it was a clean, welcoming atmosphere

I've had my fair share of Italian food, from authentic to the ma and pa Americana chains. Here are my honest highlights of Olive Garden, in Portage, Michigan.

1. Making a reservation is recommended ahead of time, with waits on the weekend averaging a hour or two.

The Experience:
Reserving online is easy and straightforward, requiring a Name, phone number and e-mail address. The wait compared to the estimate was off by about 15 to 20 minutes, it took longer than expected but this was okay because it gave us time to look at the menu online while we waited for our table.

Getting to the host counter was a bit chaotic, with no identifiable stand for reservations, so we waited with the crowd when our table was finally ready.

It is a very popular location in portage, so expect a packed dinning room with lots of laughter and families enjoying the food, and each others company.

2. Once you get seated, expect world-class customer service and delicious food.

The Experience:
We had only been seated a minute, and had just a moment to peruse the appetizer screen (its a little table-side device)
when our waiter arrived, smiling and attentive. He offered us his Name, Michael Moore, and proceeded to ask us if there was anything we would like to drink.

After quickly, and friendly taking our order of appetizers and drinks, he swiftly made off.

In less than five minutes, Michael returned with our drinks AND the app's (to our astonishment). He asked if we had decided on our entree's.

We seen what his recommendations were and he offered a great solution to our dilemma: Linking to try multiple things, but not always wanting the full portions. He recommended the Tour of Italy dinner, which features slightly smaller portions of their most classic dishes.

The Fried Mozzarella was hot, and so stringy and gooey! It had a crisp outside and a burst of fresh cheese flavor. They pair very well with the Marinara that comes with. These are some of the better mozzarella I've had.

The time it took for us to eat the hot app's, and most of our first drinks seemed to be perfectly timed, as Michael returned with our soups and salads that came with the entree's. Along with refills of our drinks moments after.

The Minestrone soup is hearty and very tasty! I fought myself against eating every drop, as I knew room for the main course was needed.

When our friendly waiter (Michael) returned, this time accompanied by another waitress: I knew we were in for a treat.
She brought to us two piping hot plates and the fair polite warning as to such effect. Before us sat the American embodiment of Italy: Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccini Alfredo and a high-piled-not-so-leaning-tower of Lasagna. Each of these was plenty to fill a hungry soul after the soup, let alone the mozzarella from before.

The Breakdown:
A) Chicken Parmigiana: The chicken was crisp and fried to perfection, offering a thorough season and was juicy in every bite. The Marinara was an excellent topper.

B) Fettuccini Alfredo: The noodles were done Al dente, like I like. The sauce was a yummy blend of butter, cheese and garlic. it was very satisfying.

C) Lasagna Classico: The lasagna was good, it was not my favorite of the dish, but it was good. It features what tastes like Italian sausage (not my favorite, this is my own opinion on Italian sausage) and a good amount of cheese. I would have liked a bit more sauce to balance the flavor.

The whole time we were catered like family, if not in the most professional and top-notch way, and it made us longing to return.
Michael thanked me for telling him how exquisite the later-half of my experience had been, and I asked him for his last name to make sure he got the credit he deserves. That man is a world class customer experience professional, and he pays great attention to detail. He made sure my partner was given some cherry in her coke since it was not on the menu, and stuff like that goes a VERY far in customer service.

This establishment has the potential to be a real star among the best of the best that south west Michigan has to offer.
