We spent a few nights at Wolfe's Neck earlier this month and it was a great stay! A beautiful location, lots to do, and just super well-kept in general!

Before we even got there, I was pleasantly surprised at how great their website is - lots of info about the farm, activities, and an interactive campground map. Every staff member we interacted with throughout our visit was helpful and friendly. The farm store has just about anything you could need plus some local goods. There is self-service firewood that can be billed right to the card used to the card used to book the site. Small cafe right by the farm store has great food and baked goods.

The sites are clean and well spaced. Bathrooms are scattered throughout the campground and there is one shower house located by the store. In the mornings, you can see the cows roaming out in the pastures. There are a lot of publicly accessible areas where you can visit the animals or check out the gardens, and the farm hosts a lot of different activities. Kayak and bike rentals are available as well.

Overall a great campground in a convenient location just minutes away from all of the attractions in Freeport. It's the type of place that makes for a great stay whether you just need a nice spot to return to after a day of adventuring elsewhere or you want to hang out and explore everything the farm has to offer.

I loved this campsite! My family has been here twice now and we have always gotten a cabin. There is a queen bed, two twin bunk beds, and two twins up in the loft as well. There is a kitchen with an oven and electric stove as well as a toaster, coffee maker, and fridge. All utensils for cooking and grilling are included. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept. The only thing I recommend is bringing your own bedding. The view is amazing and it's only a short walk to the camp store which has all the necessities in case you forgot something. Overall this is a wonderful place!!

I recently stayed one night at Wolfs Neck with my children. This place reminds me of what camping used to be like before large corporations started buying campgrounds making them into resorts. We had a small grassy oceanfront site. While there were no electricity or water hookups, there was water close by. My kids loved the farm atmosphere and the access to the ocean. While there we biked and visited the farm store. Security was very present in the evening hours. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with soap. My only recommendation is to read the description of your site on the website. Doing so helped me pick a good tenting site. There were some that were small with a lot of roots but the descriptions help you figure out what you are going to get.

I recently had the pleasure of camping at Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground, and overall, it was a delightful experience. This campground has a lot to offer, especially for families with children, thanks to its ongoing investments in the space and the multitude of activities available.

One of the standout features of Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground is their commitment to continually improving the amenities. During my stay, I noticed the addition of new playground equipment, which was a hit with the kids. It's refreshing to see the campground investing in creating a fun and engaging environment for the younger campers. Additionally, I was excited to hear about the upcoming development of a new event space, which is sure to enhance the overall experience for future visitors.

Speaking of kids, one of the main reasons my children always enjoy camping at Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground is the opportunity to visit the animals. The campground offers a unique experience by allowing campers to interact with and learn about various animals on-site. This added feature truly sets Wolf's Neck apart from other campgrounds and adds an educational and enjoyable aspect to the camping experience.

During my stay over the Memorial Day weekend, one thing that could have been improved was the operation of the cafe. It would have been convenient to have it up and running by then. However, I learned that there had been a change in management, which might have impacted the schedule. Although it didn't affect my overall enjoyment of the campground, it's worth considering for next year to ensure a smooth and complete experience for campers during peak seasons.

Despite this minor setback, it's clear that Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground understands the importance of catering to families. The emphasis on creating a family-friendly environment and providing activities that engage children is a smart business plan. It fosters a sense of community and makes the campground an ideal destination for those seeking a memorable and enjoyable camping experience with their loved ones.

Overall, I am pleased with my stay at Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground. The ongoing investments, the animal interactions, and the commitment to family-friendly offerings make it a standout choice for families looking to reconnect with nature. With a few improvements, such as the cafe operation, the campground has the potential to become an even more exceptional destination for camping enthusiasts.

If you're seeking a campground that caters to families and offers a range of activities to keep everyone entertained, I highly recommend considering Wolf's Neck Oceanfront Campground for your next camping adventure. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, engage with the animals, and create lasting memories with your loved ones amidst the wonders of nature.

We loved camping here!!! The staff was beyond friendly and it was so fun seeing the cows and wildlife. We had a family of gophers close ish to our site which was so fun to watch. Site and the view was lovely and just as described.

Great campground with a nice cafe and you can purchase whatever items they have from the farm available. I would recommend they update their shower area.

We love this place! Over the years, we’ve found this to be one of our favorites due to the lovely landscape and ease of camping, overall. The bay is beautiful, and the grounds have nice trails to walk, close to the sites. The staff has always been super kind and helpful. Good restrooms and showers. Yummy comfort food too, if you get lazy and don’t want to cook over the flames. Even wood fired pizza (at certain times)! Our little dog loves this place too! Great vibes overall!

This is the best campground we have ever been to. We were tent camping and really enjoyed the farm and related activities, the hiking and proximity to water, and the playground for the kids. We stayed in east bay and originally thought that was going to be less than ideal but it ended up being perfect. Our sites were shady and moderately sized, and being near several cabins meant it was very quiet at night.

Other sites we passed we noted were a bit small, and the sites by the playground offered no privacy or sun protection. Also note the sites on the water have a pretty steep drop to the water which would have been a bit worrisome with our toddlers in tow.

The camp store and café were well-stocked and delicious. The "outhouses" are actually toilets with water and foot pedals to "flush" so were much more like real toilets than I had feared. The showers and bathrooms near the playground were nicer than the ones by the camp store.

This is also very near downtown Freeport which made getting out and about for some time away from camp easy.

We would return here and recommend it.

This campground is definitely one of the best. I can only speak for early to mid May. I'm sure it gets much busier during the summer and will continue to update my review over time. So far, 5 stars all the way around.

Great campground. Amazing views make this place hard to beat. If you have a camper, skip the full hookups and get a space next to the water.

There are kayaks available for rent. The low water levels at low tide are great to explore. Kids and adults alike have plenty of outdoor options. The trail around the property is a favorite.

The farm is a perfect place to see some dairy cows, goats, pigs, and to learn about farming.

2021 update: This place keeps getting better! Cafe and Farm Store now provide plenty of supplies and food options. Friendly and helpful! Even had an off-duty staff member find a missing lug bolt for my trailer and save the day! Thank you!!

Farm camp also highly recommended.

Loved it. Great space for camping. Farm and animals on property which kids love to explore. Decent staff size to take care of guests needs. Good shower and restroom facilities such happens to be right in front of the reception. So be prepared to come out with wet hair and body parts in front of newcomers. Hey, that's camping!

I've stayed at a dozen campgrounds this summer, and this place is by farm my favorite!! HIGHLY recommend. This place has everything I love:
- nice big open sites
- easy access with the camper
- waterfront views
- big area to walk around
- sustainable farm with animals and you can buy the veggies and pasture-raised meat
- places to put in kayaks
- clean showers
I really enjoyed my week here. Worst part is that the WIFI wasn't super great and cut in and out a lot.

This is why it’s so important to read the reviews before you just look at the overall score. Some of these complaints with a 1 star are a little ridiculous. 4.3 does NOT do this campground justice. It’s extremely quaint, beautiful, and well taken care of.

Very few campgrounds give you an opportunity to feel like you’re living on an oceanfront farm, but this does the trick

Bathrooms are well maintained, sites are spacious, check in was very easy, the views were spectacular.

No bugs, which is unreal!

This is our second time here and it is delightful, rejuvenating and refreshing. The skunks are a bit of a pain while you’re sleeping, and they rustle and make a lot of noise, but the scenery is exquisite and the food is absolutely delicious! The bathroom by the waterside has a leak and could use more regular cleaning, but otherwise, we plan to continue to come back!

We ended up staying in Quiet Cove as we were originally placed right next to a group of college kids who were quite loud. We absolutely loved Quiet Cove. Incredibly beautiful, wonderful facilities, friendly staff. Our only complaint, since Quiet Cove is exactly that, quiet, you cannot drive in to load and unload. That was fine by us, but the issue is the carts they provide you to load stuff in and out with, there isn’t one per campsite. Folks were just leaving them empty at their sites so when we went to leave there were none available. Thankfully folks were nice enough to let us borrow them, but I think if there was a simple sign at the parking lot asking folks to use these for loading and unloading only, this would be very helpful. Either that, or have one available for every campsite. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

This is a large campground right on the water. It is also a working farm. Sites are somewhat small, but you do have a picnic table and fire pit. Some sites are right on the water. Some are on a field in the sun. Some are wooded so you have some shade during the hot weather. There are three separate camping areas. There is a store on site where you can buy fresh eggs and other food items as well as souvenirs. There’s a playground for kids. There are bike rentals and kayak and canoe rentals. Also activities relating to the animals that are on the grounds.
