Great atmosphere and scenery. Love the laid back experience and peace and quiet. Morning breakfasts are good. Second stay here with 2 different rooms. Both were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely go back.

This place is a jewel. Ya want to feel like your are at home? STAY HERE! Is it a Ritz; No!! Is it clean and hospitable; yes!! Stay in the Inn to get amazing breakfast every morning. If you do a cabin breakfast isn’t included, fyi. Butch And all his staff are very easy going and laid back. What a view of the channel. Stay here. I’m coming back. View from window at sunrise !!

An experience you will never forget. Its rustic, nostalgic with so much charm. At times I thought I was in a Steven King movie.
The hotel has been in the family for generations. We stayed for two nights. Buck makes wonderful blueberry pancakes with eggs, bacon, and a slice of cantaloupe.
Our bathroom was private but around the corner of our room. The bed was very comfortable.
There have been many weddings along the grounds.
I wish we had the opportunity to have dinner at the hotel. It is a blast from the past with updated restrooms. Most beautiful ocean views.

The Brooklin Inn is a blessing of a place. My husband and I spent several days last summer in one of their cottages (Den Dorit), which was roomier and better supplied (full-sized fridge, pots, coffee, dishes, cutting board, dishtowels) than we expected, as well as being perfectly clean. The owners and staff are lovely, unpretentious people who cook Fabulous food at the main house, which also has a restaurant, and on our first night there we ate mussels in a saffron broth while watching a full moon rise over the ocean. The property is on a peninsula, and at low tide you can walk from sand bar to sand bar, finding stones and shells. A local kayak shop will drop boats for you near the waters edge so you can explore the islands. It's a wonderful spot.

This place is an escape from the craziness of the world right now!!! The owners and staff were super nice. We sailed there, and the restaurant wasn't open due to covid... well, the owner let us borrow his car to go to town for food!!!!! LOL!! never had that happen before. It's a rustic, beautiful, and relaxing spot.

If you are looking for traditional Maine, this is the place; 19th century farmhouse, quiet nights and a staff that makes you feel like you've known each other for years. Butch cooks a great breakfast and makes sure everything is squared away; Marsha engages in conversation over great drinks. The Lookout is truly a lifetime experience and requires you put your phone aside and take in everything around it.

Our trip hasn't even started yet, but I am so impressed with this place! It's my cousin's wedding venue, and she has nothing but amazing things to say about them as well. I called to set up payment and was given some very helpful information about the area and our travel. I'll update after our stay for sure! We're looking forward to it!

Just went to the restaurant. Incredibly beautiful location with views of fields and the water. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was amazing! Wait staff was great. You can tell they put a lot of themselves into this place and the relaxed atmosphere reflects that commitment to service.

Rustic inn. Incredible views and pleasant owner. If you want fancy, this wouldn't be for you. If you want to walk to a secluded spot on the bay for a bottle of wine to watch the sunset like we did then this would be the spot. Watched the lobster boats heading out from my bed.

Unreal location. It was like something out of a movie. We loved the cabin, atmosphere, and ocean scenery. We can't wait to go back.
