Best neurologist in Michigan - he spends quality time with his patients. Truly cares about you, your situation and finding the best treatment. Thank you Dr Ward 😊

Good luck. You have to pump information out of them and you're basically on your own unless you just want medication forced on you. When I inquired about a home monitoring device for monitoring my seizures in my sleep, I was told a Fitbit (seriously?) and that I needed to research other devices on my own and let them know and they would assist me. So, I did. When I contacted the office to get the form filled out, I'm basically told the next day that he'll get to it but not today. I feel like it's always a struggle to get assistance unless I want pills then here ya go it's waiting for you.

It took me a while to decide to write this but it’s time I speak up so that no one has to go thru the pain that I endured with having “Dr” Ward as my neurologist. I have a rare condition called IIH where I literally get crushed alive from the inside out. Debilitating pain and vision loss etc. After being dismissed, mocked and belittled by Ward I went to seek a second opinion at which point be mocked me even more and even called me a typical “hysterical woman” and sent me to psych. Turns out I DO have re stenosis and need another surgery. The other doctor saw it right away. Something this office missed over and over and blamed me. Tainted my medical record. Unnecessary pain and suffering, delayed treatment and unnecessary missed work days are just a few things I’m adding to the list for my lawyer. To be laughed at and dismissed by “medical professionals” when you are in debilitating pain when you have something legit wrong that could have been fixed a while ago is a pain I don’t wish on anyone. Not even Dr. WARD, although I wish for him to experience this pain for even an hour and then see how he is laughing. How does that feel?? However, they will be hearing from my lawyer and justice will be served. DO NOT GO HERE. Oh and the kicker? I’m a NURSE!!

The 1st neurologist I saw. He was honestly no better than the the one I'm dealing with now, because both of them are doing the same thing. MEDICALLY GASLIGHTING!!!!!! You think for someone older than me he should know better. Very disappointing.....

I never got the doctor's messages because the nurse didn't call me with them. I wondered if the doctors got MY info when I left it with the nurse. I'd have to call more then once for refills.
I asked him EVERY visit why my son kept having seizures even though he took his meds religiously. He'd blow me off saying "he missed a dose. "
My son died from SUDEP. He was at a higher risk because his seizures were not controlled by meds. THAT'S when I learned about SUDEP.
My other epileptic son goes to another neurologist.

Told my son that the meds he had been prescribed by other doctors are the reason he is "stupid", and that he shouldn't talk because he (Dr. Ward) was the one with the degrees as he pointed to the walls. Told my wife not talk during the appointment when she tried to clarify information. Dr. Ward told my son not to try to go to another doctor because "he'd know" since he has access to patient records.

My appointment time is running over an hour late and it does this consistently. I am now meeting with a P.A. instead of the Doctor to speed up the process. I don't think it is helping. If you value your time please be aware that they do not share the same value of your time.

Take yourself or your loved one somewhere else. You will not be listened to or respected here. “Dr” Ward does not care about your well being or health. He wants you in and out as fast as possible... terrible experience and will be going elsewhere.
