Rose Park Veterans Memorial

It's very lovely and there are many walks of life including turtles, frogs, birds, and fish of many variety. I have been here many times and never had to worry about a homeless person. I went fishing under a bridge and two homeless men played blue Grass music while I fished. They are no threat and they are seldom here and if they are they're just like you ; they don't want to be bothered. The only problem is the river is polluted.

The walk behind the memorial is peaceful along the river. Just be sure to have someone with you after night fall for safety sake.

Nice memorial and park next to the river, close to the road though so traffic is loud. There's a pokemon go gym here

Great to bike to. It's a wonderful thing to have here and I think it's good to have a memorial. It's pretty good-looking, too.

Very peaceful place to sit and remember the war veterans..My uncle on my mom's side died in the Korean War MIA/POW
