Hemlock Park

What a lovely park! Only had limited time to visit but the sculptures, bridges, and paths are so cool and beautiful! Even saw some wildlife up close!

Excellent place for children to play benches in and out of the play area. Built in 1996, does need some repair but very safe. Couple of baby swing. Big kids swings 3 different size slide and a huge fort style play area.

Has a good sized playground, public bathrooms (I don't believe they're open during winter, but I'm not sure), picnic tables under a pavilion, and a great walking trail. Always enjoy sitting on the benches and watching the river!

Hemlock Park is a great place for the whole family. You can catch the River Walk, have a picnic, explore the huge playground, throw a blanket on the grass, or sit on a bench and watch to river flow by. It is a hidden gem in the city of Big Rapids. It has paved walkways and a handicapped swing. My grown, engaged daughter announced on this trip, " I love Hemlock Park. I brought my fiancee here. I will bring our children here"

My fiance and I are in town for business (never been to Big Rapids) came here for a walk in a new area and were very impressed and LOVED the river walk, I reccomend anyone that loves exercise, parks, nature, and all things outdoors should visit this at least once; you won't be disappointed!!!

Very relaxing. Several people were working out roller blading and my grandbabies enjoyed the river. Very nice place to take the family

Beautiful park right on the river, plenty of benches and picnic tables in and out of shade. Multi-person bathrooms and even has Wi-Fi. Tennis courts and plenty of lawn space for activities. The children's play ground was also best I've seen.

What a place! So close I must of had my blinders on! Hemlock park is very clean and fun for all ages. The Riverwalk is through Hemlock park and the trail is about 2.6 miles.

I always love bringing my kids here. Short of climbing over the fence there is one entrance and lots of benches. Made mostly of wood the park attracts a lot of kids and offers a nice place for games like hide and seek. Hemlock also offers quite a bit of riverfront so it's easily to just relax and fish or sight see.

I really like this park. Met some really nice people and it's gorgeous.

Fantastic park to bring your kids to. The Playscape is amazing and there's a river walk as well.

Very nice and clean park. I have been going to this park since I was born. 38 years later, and still a nice park. I remember helping build the wooden play area when I was in elementary school. Good memories throughout my life here.

Hemlock park is along the Muskegon River. It is a perfect place for the whole family! During the summer you can enjoy music in the park near the band shell or you can take your children to play on the toys.
Their is public bathrooms, tennis courts, a softball field, and plenty of trails to walk along while viewing the wildlife.
Their is also grills, and picnic tables for public use as well.

Love this park. Lots to do year round from ice skating in the winter to walking the trails, picnics and a playground area during other seasons. Beautifully kept up and maintained and new added features yearly.

I absolutely love hemlock park. There is a play are that is wheel chair accessible. There is a full baseball field. The park is beautiful and always kept clean. There is a pavilion area as well. There is a nice trail to walk that takes you along the Muskegon river. I like to sit and watch all the people who go tubbing down the river. Its a nice open park but has plenty of shade as well. My family and i love coming here. My kids and dad like to long board on the trails.

Located in the City 🌃 of Big Rapids Michigan , on the shores of the Mighty Muskegon River! With plenty of picnic 🧺 areas and a massive play structure for the kids! It seems there is always something to do with community events that are scheduled throughout the year! I can’t say enough great 👍 things about this particular place! 🤔💭👍👏👏😎🥰🥰🥰

Hemlock Park is a beautiful park with many different activities available for the entire family. There is a playscape, ball diamonds, tennis courts, a beautiful river walk, and much more!
