Vitale's Pizza

After spending 2 days in the heat at Upheaval fest my friend and I were looking for a kitchen open late that was close by. Vitale's popped up and after looking at the photos of the interior I was sold. We arrived at 11pm and the kitchen was open for another half hour. We got a large meat lovers pizza, and let me tell you, we were blown away. One of the best pies I've had in a long time. Fresh from the oven the cheese pull was epic. The Italian sausage had a great fennel flavor and the sauce was slightly sweet. The staff was great being very attentive even though we rolled in almost at the cutoff. Really the only thing I would complain about was my phone (t-mobile) could not get a signal inside the restaurant. But that's my network's issue not Vitale's.

I live 1 minute away and been going here for years. Best deluxe pizza an all of west Michigan. They never mess up our order. And staff couldn't be nicer. 10 star

This is by far the best Pizza in Grand Rapids. I have had pizza from over 20 pizza places in Grand Rapids and this Vitale's is the best myself and my family will be life long customers. Also the staff is very friendly. It's the best we highly recommend!

Vitales has been one of my family's favorites for decades. The pizza is the best in town. The service is always excellent as well.

The BBQ chicken pizza was excellent!! Our waiter was so upbeat and happy (I think his name was Brice). On a not so great day we were having, he was a breath of fresh air.

The Vitale family knows how to make you feel right at home. With wonderful service and a fantastic taste of the old country Italian style. Their Italian sauce is the best!!!

After a long day of working in a snowstorm that supreme half cheese 12 inch pizza I ordered was excellent. The sauce , it’s something about the sauce I love so that is my go to sit down spot to have a drink with friends and a bite to eat. It is a neighborhood meeting place, they are very popular when you mention a good pizza that tastes handmade (it is) and not pre-fabricated. This is it! The waitresses are friendly and make sure you get your food and drinks as quickly as possible. I believe it is a family owned business, and it feels like it when I go in there. They have been around for years. I look forward to visiting there again. If you’re in town and want to have great pizza, stop in and watch a game on tv while having a bite, or a small get together in the front dining area, this is it!!

Many things can be a bit better with this place.
However, the Pizza surprised me. I've lived in many states, and like different types of pizza. This is that kind the T.M.N.Turtles eat. In a good way.

One of the best stuffed bananas I’ve ever had hands down. This dish was absolutely fantastic, I love the banana mustard combo go so well together. 10/10

We had a celebrate of life lunch buffet, served to us and everything was really good.

Very attentive servers, great food and awesome atmosphere.

Great staff, especially Kristy, the lovely bartender. It was a warm and welcoming experience by staff and fellow guests. The pizza was good (not like Chicago, I'm from there) but delicious nonetheless. Also, it was my first time there. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

The pzza here has literally never dissappointed, take out is always hot and made exact to order, 20/20 times visiting. Kudos to the chefs, as always. Taste is also one of the best in the GR area, for an uncomprable price. I would recommend Vitale's to anyone who even remotely says they want the taste of Venice.

Messed up my order caught it remade it told me why it wasn't ready and gave me 2 free drinks!!

Veggie sub great add milk does body GOOD. ALL STAFF PROVIDED SUPERIOR service....
