Stopped in for breakfast with my kid, only one server working, though I think another one did come in towards the end of our meal. Megan had 11 tables and still managed to keep up with every single one like it was nothing. The food was amazing and came out quickly. New favorite breakfast spot.

The working staff was very helpful. The coffee was good and hot like I want. The food was done as asked for. That portion were just right for my taste.

Stopped by on our way back north from GR, looking for great food, hometown feel and not a chain restaurant. The service was phenomenal and food was on point. The Irishman omelette was exceptional!!

Great little place to grab Saturday breakfast. I will say get there before 9, I was there about 8:30 and it started to get pretty popular after that. Food was great, a lot of options. Service was friendly and fast.

I gave 4 stars 4 years ago. My recent visit was lackluster. The food and staff were great. The cleanliness of the restrooms is definitely in question. The windows all around the dining area were dirty. It is the type of dirty that creeps up from slow accumulation, which is not necessarily the fault of the staff. Management/owner needs to step up! I hope the kitchen isn't suffering from the same inattention.

This establishment is the definition of your local family-owned restaurant. The portions are huge, the service was great and the prices are still really good.

It was our first time there. There was a wait but it wasn't too long and it was worth it. They got us in and out and the corned beef hash was delicious! Coffee too! Can't wait to go back!

Good food, good service, nice spot to stop for a diner breakfast

Food is always delicious. Atmosphere is a typical home-town diner.
Sometimes the service is lacking where you seat yourself and then no one comes to your table to take your order for a while. Usually it isn't a problem to just flag someone down, but if you are expecting a hostess to seat you this is not that type of place.

But overall I highly recommend it! Food comes out fast, is always delicious and reasonably priced.

A great, no-frills, diner! Visited around 7:30AM on a Saturday morning. Was able to be seated with no issues and the waitress quickly brought menus and hot coffee. Wide selection items are available on the menu for both breakfast and lunch. Overall, food was good, service was great, and atmosphere was nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice breakfast spot in downtown Rockford.

Great spot for breakfast. Small town diner feel, easy parking.

Country skillet. Hash browns, sausage, cheese, country gravy, supposed to be topped with eggs, I opted on the side with the toast.

Food & service are always great! Place does need a bit of sprucing up.

Have loved the food there for years and years. Everything they make is delicious. You won't be disappointed with anything you order. 10/10 approve. I will always love this restaurant. Very kid friendly and great customer service.

Our family was traveling through and stopped to eat.
Friendly staff, tried and true food, and great coffee from a local restaurant! Perfect for families or really anyone.
While there we overheard a conversation of the staff welcoming a new employee.
They were working with some kind of organization that equips special need individuals to gain independence in the work force.
Loved hearing the joyful excitement of the staff meeting their new co-worker.
These are the businesses and people that build a stronger community.

The food was delicious, I have 2 stack of pancakes and they were so soft and fluffy! Our waitress was very attentive, asking about refills plenty and our cooks were very fast and efficient. If you're looking for fancy, this is not it, kinda old and outdated...but the service and food was 5 star! Will be back!

Had an amazing breakfast here today. The restaurant was busy! The staff were in a great mood, very friendly, and very helpful. The sign saying their cook was still learning, and thanking guests for patience was perfect. It highlighted the caring and courtesy we should be showing for hardworking staff without being disrespectful to those same staff. I will definitely visit this place again.
