WOW!!! What a pleasant surprise! Ordered for the first time tonight since the new owners took over. My husband got a Super pizza, and I tried their Margarita pizza. Was it ever delicious!!! And the crust is so fresh! I’ve been craving a good Margarita pizza for so long, and so many places just don’t do it right. Most use standard shredded mozzarella. Not here! They use fresh, buffalo mozzarella, like it’s supposed to be. YUM!!! And since we live so close (right across the street), our pizzas came home nice and hot (a bonus)! Thank you so much, and we’ll be back! Well done!!!

I went to Nona’s pizza to get food for a gathering I had. It was a pretty big order with a lot of special requests, and every pizza turned out exactly how I had asked. The service was amazing. The workers there helped pack the pizzas into my car and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Also received multiple compliments from the people who ate. Highly recommend!

Best pizza place in the area. My guy changed his wing recipe and they are even better than before and they were ridiculously good before. Go give this family business a try. Great people, great food. Only place we get pizza and wings

This place is great and very clean. The food is good. It’s family ran. The owners are always there to serve you. The dad will give you a joke every time you get a pizza. Ask for Jon.

The new owners know what they are doing. I ordered 2 pizzas and a cheese bread for dinner with my family because we decided we wanted to try them since the ownership change and not only was the customer service great but the pizza was amazing I definitely recommend and we will be back!

My experience here was AMAZING. The new management has really made this place wonderful, I don’t even know where to start. The pizza was DELICIOUS and the service was PHENOMENAL. I 10/10 recommend coming here over Little Caesars or Jets, this pizza will make you never want Jets Pizza again.

After abandoning Nona’s pizza years ago, for poor service and quality, a neighbor let me know that it was under new management and I should try them again. I did, and now it’s my go to pizza place. Family owned and operated…..everyone there is exceptionally wonderful. The pizza is amazing, cheese bread is incredible, and I’ve only tried the steak/cheese, and shawarma subs; but, I can’t wait to try others. My wife and I have ordered from them, once a week, since we tried them over a month ago. We always get something different, and we haven’t been disappointed at all. If you stopped patronizing Nona’s a while back like I did, you should try them again. I think you’ll be pleased.

I am beyond impressed with Nona's food and service. Their pizza and breadsticks are delicious. The quality of pizza and prices are unbeatable compared to other pizza outlets. Service is outstanding. Always greeted warmly, they make you feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend Nonas to any and everyone, and have already brought members of my family and friends here!

Joe and Anna started Nona's in the early eighties and by far sold those famous slices like crazy. Then another owner came along, and it wasn't too bad. Then Larry came and bought it and put it back in the family. Think Larry was Joe's uncle and a good friend of mine. Then another group came along, and it went totally downhill. Never knew if they were going to be open or closed and ditched almost everything on the menu but pizza. Now the new owners who have reopened it are the nicest people, and the pizza is great. I just had the pasta and meatballs for dinner, and it was great. Great size serving for the price. Come on, Sterling Hgts get back to going to Nona's you won't be disappointed. Also RIP Joe, original owner, you were loved by many.

I had their cheesy bread with bacon on it and it was so delicious! The pizza sauce was amazing! The owner’s son was very kind and told me they have weekly specials like Shawarma Tuesdays, Spaghetti Wednesdays, Baby Back Rib Thursdays! They are more than your average pizza shop because they are family owned and operated, I can tell they really care about the food and customer service! I’ll definitely go back to try those specials!!

After hearing Nona’s pizza is under new management I went here last week and the pizzas were amazing, especially their supreme. Also the employees and owner were very friendly and welcoming.

I came here when I heard the shop was under new management. The pizza is incredible, tastes delicious, and it’s not too greasy to make me feel heavy all day. I’d definitely stop by and see them!

I tried Nona’s last week after i heard there was new ownership, and wow was i shocked. The Pizza was great and they had so many options! I also met the owner and he was very welcoming and so were the employees. Everyone needs to check Nona’s pizza out, I know i’ll be returning.

Honestly for this being a pizza place, their other food is delicious. Take for example, the chicken shawarma, absolutely delectable but its only out certain days. If I could have one meal for the rest of my life, that would be it. Pizza also slaps.

Nona's pizza was "Fantastico", the garlic sticks were huge and much better than any of the other pizza places we have tried. I ordered it online and when we arrived it was ready to pick up. The service was great and Anthony was a terrific host. Update: a year has gone by since I posted my last review and this pizzeria has gotten better if that was even possible! Seriously the best ever.

They were so friendly, and the pizza was amazing. Reasonable price, and super menu. The place was very clean, and nice. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

This pizza is the best damn pizza I have ever had. If u have never had it before u need to if u have then I'm proud of u............... And always remember obey the pizza, love the pizza. The workers are very respectful and nice when they talk to u. Just an all around great place.

I'm From NY, Recently Moved Here To Sterling Heights Area. New Yorkers Are Snobbs When It Comes To Our Pizza's And Me Especially Cannolis. Well Nona's Sure Didn't Disappoint Me At All. Shell Was Fresh Crunchy, Cream Was Not Powdery As Most Areas Are Around Here. Pizza Was Excellent, Dough Was Cooked Perfectly, Not Cardboard Like Most Of Areas Here, My Opinion. Definitely Authentic Italian Made Food With Love And Care. I Grew Up With Italians And I Definitely Loved The Food That Nona's Has To Offer. I Say For Me It's New Yorker Approved. Go Nona's I Appreciate Your Excellent Food And Customer Service.

Excellent staff and service at Nona's! Not to mention one of the best pizzas in town! I ordered a "Pauly G" pizza (double pepperoni & double cheese), and I have to say it was easily one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. I've tried a lot of pies from lots of local restaurants and chains, and after yesterday I would choose Nona's over all of them. Looking forward to stopping back in soon for another "Pauly G"!
