Place was great. Food was really good. Waitress was helpful attentive and most importantly just plain nice. Manager even came over to check that everything was good. We will be back for sure. ☺

I don't know if we came at a good time but the lighting was good the food was good fast service. As soon as we sat down the waitress was hands on even help with my drink order very attentive. We left her a 20 dollar tip on a 40 dollar order that's how good it was lol I will be back and hope to get the same experience again

We went here for brunch and it was delicious! The weather was nice so we were able to sit outside. It was a clean. The service was good, our waitress was knowledgeable about the drinks and food menus. Food came out quick. Food was delicious. Drinks were mixed awesome. Definitely will return to try the dinner menu.

Had lunch with a group of 8. Karen our server was great! Nice assortment of lunch specials reasonably priced. Only thing I didn't like was not enough low tables. Think I'd hesitate to come when they were busy if u can't sit at high tables.
Also, gratuity was added but we weren't told. Luckily it was noticed.

We were in the area and decided to try Johnny Blacks and they exceeded our expectations! Service was top notch and the food was prepared wonderfully! We had Cesar salad with salmon, filet sliders, and the sliced tenderloin. Very surprised how good this place was! Manager helped bring food out and our waitress was very attentive and came back multiple times to check on us. We will defiantly be back next time we are in the area!

Nice place with a laid back atmosphere. Drinks are delicious. The food is pretty good. One of the first places I’ve been to in years that wasn’t short staffed and staff did an exceptional job.

The waitress was very attentive making sure my friend and I had any and everything we needed or wanted. This was my first visit and I'll be back for sure. My drink was the punch, I loved it. I ordered the calamari and brussel sprout salad. Let me tell you I was more than pleased. The laid back atmosphere was an absolute plus.❤

My wife and I were in Sterling heights and found that we were hungry.

We did a quick search for local restaurants and found Johnny Black's Public House was nearby. The name alone caused us to come and check out the place.

We found the interior to be pleasing, stylish yet modern in a way.

The menu is large and they had a separate menu for the day's specials and another menu with cocktails and draught beer.

For an appetizer, we had the Brussels sprouts which were fantastic!

I had the chicken piccata for an entree. Their preparation is a departure from the classic because it has tomatoes and potatoes. The menu wasn't clear but the potatoes were a mashed potato that went very well with the dish!

Draught beers and ciders are served in large 22 Oz. glasses, presenting an amazing value!

To finish our meal, we ordered the deep-fried Oreos dessert. OMG! copious amounts of ice cream and whipped cream complimented a center row of battered and deep-fried chocolate Oreo cookies! We will come back again just to get this dessert!

We typically order a bunch of things off the appetizer menu. Never bad. Favorite though is the filet sliders. Best we’ve ever had.

Tonight i had one amazing waitress. Her name is Stella. Her great service matched the good, hot & lovely prepared food & strong enough drinks!!! Im happy && see the pics. Im impressed 😘

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Bourbon Brussels at Johnny Blacks Public House, and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic! The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, resulting in juicy, flavorful Brussels that exceeded my expectations. The variety of toppings provided the perfect balance of flavors, making each bite a delight. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Johnny Blacks for their delicious burgers also, and I can't wait to go back for more!

Everything was excellent except when got the bill they included tip and I guess it's my fault for not seeing it and still left a 60.00 tip so I guess our gal got nearly 100.00 tip on a 180.00 bill. Other than that, everything was great.

Finally I can post restaurant reviews again! I’ve now been to both locations and Sterling Heights is better than Rochester although both great. Lots of seating with scenic views and very VERY friendly staff. Western Burger was fantastic and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Stopped here for a quick drink and a bite to eat and it was a lovely experience! The salmon sliders with aioli were the perfect size! The sweet potato tater tots with cinnamon butter were also delicious! The pulled pork sliders and loaded tater tots was one of the most satisfying meals we've had!

Brooklyn salad was surprisingly delicious given there were red onions with apple slices. Great combo along with Bleu cheese and walnuts...loved the honey mustard dressing. Would definitely order it again. $11 and I took a huge carry out home even though I felt like I was eating it forever, so the portion size was amazing for that price

Niceeee. I had a prickly pear 🤤it was delicious! The Baja bowl with salmon was great. The cabbage was fresh and crisp. The salmon was flavorful. The staff were friendly. All in all I’ll return and recommend.

a great place with a vibrant atmosphere. it was busy but not as busy as you'd think apon arriving (I went on a Wednesday around 6pm), apparently everybody drove separately 😂🤌 . anyway, my date and I were sat and served right away! and everything was amazing. can't wait to go back!
