Hexagon House Bed and Breakfast

Every detail has been covered by Brendan and Michelle at the Hexagon House!
We received a gracious welcome upon arrival which included delicious little treats. The house and our room were immaculate! We lacked nothing.
Each morning, Michelle made the most delightful breakfasts and we enjoyed visiting with her.
Brendan had amazing recommendations for dinner options and we took him up on The Farm House and loved our meal.
Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating!! We even got to enjoy our beautiful, private covered porch, even though we went later in the year.
It’s also located within walking distance to the local shops and beach!
Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing time! From the warm welcome and tour to the incredible breakfast. Everything was fantastic! I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to check out Pentwater for a nice long weekend. Be sure to take Brendan’s recommendations for dinner out!

What a delightful B&B … The Hexagon House has a warm and quaint atmosphere, beautifully furnished rooms, really great food & service too. The owners are warm and friendly and a pleasure to be with.
We also really liked the town of Pentwater, its shops and scenic beauty. The combination of the town and the B&B are what books are made of.

I'm a little afraid to give this review as I want this place all to myself (and of course with my wife). This is an awesome Bed & Breakfast. The accommodations are beautiful - both inside and out. The breakfast is wonderful. It beats all the B&Bs we have stayed with and that says a lot since we have been to so many. But, above all the hosts are so great! They are warm and welcoming. Their attention to every detail goes beyond expectation.

Michelle and Brendan are the most wonderful hosts! Hexagon House is charming, cozy, well-located, and delightful overall! Brendan was very flexible with our late check-in, and Michelle prepared the most delicious breakfasts during our stay! Plus, there were always little baked goods provided throughout the day. Coffee and tea available all day, and they were knowledgeable about local dining and activities. Rooms were very clean, good temperature, and comfortable. The outside deck is amazing too.

Michelle and Brendan were lovely to chat with as well, we'll be back soon!

We had a wonderful anniversary trip to the Hexagon House! I'm so glad we chose this bed and breakfast. The room (the Russell room) was very clean and inviting. We loved that we had our own little seating area on the porch. We used it to play an escape room board game together at night and to read a bit in the morning. Breakfast was delicious. Michelle accommodated my dairy-free diet. Brendan and Michelle were both lovely and helpful hosts and made great suggestions. Brendan suggested we could walk into town (Pentwater), and that was one of our favorite things to do! We did that twice. House of Flavors was a great place for ice cream! We also highly recommend checking out the Silver Lake area, and our favorite meal was at Farmhouse Kitchen and Market in Shelby. It's a bit of a drive, but was well worth it to us! We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay for our anniversary getaway. Hosts Brandon and Michelle made us feel very welcome and at home. I love the old-fashioned charm of the house. I appreciate all the extras they provide, including delicious pastries and coffee available throughout the day and evening. The grounds and gardens are lovely for a stroll, and the porches and balconies are a great place to while away the hours with a book. The beach is nearby and is excellent for viewing the sunset. We enjoyed our second stay at the Hexagon House and plan to return next summer.

Better than advertised! The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. The house and its grounds are immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. The wrap around porch (on both floors) is just perfect for chilling. We would recommend the Hexagon to anyone visiting the Pentwater area.

Brendan & Michelle are absolutely delightful hosts at this quaint & elegant B&B. We were greeted by Bren in the drive as we came onto the property & very quickly realized we had made a superlative choice for our Pentwater stay. Michelle is an absolute Michelin breakfast chef. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I rented all the rooms in the main house for my siblings who came for a family wedding. Brendan and Michelle were so kind and thoughtful throughout the planning and event. We are so grateful to them for hosting my family as if they were their own! Everyone loved the setting, the great food, having lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy eachothers' company. Absolutely loved this precious experience!!!

We visited Pentwater for a family event and were happy to have found Hexagon House for our stay. The hosts, Michelle and Brendan, were delightful and did their utmost to ensure that all of our needs were met. They could not have been nicer to us. The Homestead Room was comfortable and the private porch was really lovely. Breakfast was delicious, as were the goodies laid out for snacking during the day. We found the house and grounds to be peaceful but just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Pentwater Village. We highly recommend this place.

Michelle & Brendan are great hosts who are very friendly and accommodating. The B&B is clean, spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. We loved the wrap around porch and walking proximity to the lake and downtown. We highly recommend staying at the Hexagon house! It helped make our wedding anniversary very memorable.

We loved the hexagon house! Our first time there and it exceeded our expectations! Two wrap around porches and a patio with plenty of sitting room, even a chair swing. Our room was spacious with everything we needed including a well-supplied attached bathroom. A door from our bedroom opened to the balcony which had chairs and a table set up for us. Great for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Best of all, were the hosts Michelle and Brandon. At the time, they had only owned it 3 weeks and they were delightful. Very friendly, sharing stories, interested in yours, and frequently checking to make sure everything was okay. The breakfasts were beautiful, delicious, and filling. Thoughtfully, fresh fruits and bars were left out for you to take with you as you started your day. We’ll be back and would definitely recommend!

We have a cottage in town. We booked the Carriage House for friends staying from Switzerland. This was ideal! They were very comfortable and loved the accommodations. I can honestly say The Hexagon House serves the Best Breakfast in Pentwater!! Michelle truly is the best Hostess of any B&B I’ve ever experienced. Staying here is a treat!! Our Swiss friends said this was their favorite part of being in the States.

We were delighted and refreshed during out two day stay at the Hexagon House. Upon our initial , warm greeting by Michele we felt that the house had a spirit we were sure to enjoy, we were not disappointed! The serene and inviting atmosphere was everywhere. It was evident that the attention to detail was important. Our lovely Garden Room was pleasant, exceptionally clean, and well-equipped for our needs. The room access to the second floor porch with comfortable seating was one of our favorite features. We enjoyed sitting outside viewing the lovely landscaping, relishing the quietness , turning off our thoughts, and listening to nature. The delicious plated breakfast was personally served to a cozy and exquisitely set table for two. We appreciated the choice of a table for two. The personal service was a chance to be spoiled while soft, background music played. It is difficult to find true "quiet" anymore but the Hexagon House was able to deliver. It was our first visit to Pentwater together, and I can’t imagine a better way to go. We spoke with Brendan on the phone before booking and by the time we arrived we felt like we already knew the hosts, Brendan and Michelle. The dining is intimate with your travel mate only (dining table available) not family style. The breakfasts were fantastic and the ambiance incredible. We almost didn’t want to post this to keep it more secret. If you’re thinking Pentwater you have to consider Hexagon House as a place to stay. Thanks Brendan and Michelle!

The innkeepers are excellent! My husband I felt very warmly welcomed, right at home, and our stay felt very personal, almost like we were staying with family. It was very relaxing and serene. Michelle did a great job cooking and serving breakfast. Everything was delicious. We can’t wait to go back to hexagon house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary celebration at the Hexagon House! Beautiful and comfortable setting and rooms, very relaxing, loved the porch with each room having its own seating area. Michelle and Brendon were lovely hosts. Loved Pentwater downtown and the beach! We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

This was absolutely the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in… LOVELY home, charming, comfortable suite, meticulously maintained grounds, out of this world breakfast and all day treats! The wonderful hosts, Michelle and Brendan, should offer a master class in how to run a B&B!!. A++ experience!

Stayed here for a girls weekend. Michelle and Brenden make you feel comfortable and are very helpful giving suggestions of things to do in the area. A very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable and classic.
