I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! Great service and a great staff! I had quite a rare and odd case and they figured it out, were nothing but honest, and kept me well informed along the way. I will definitely be back if needed in the future!

Had a car emergency on a Friday….thought for sure I wouldn’t be able to get in but they fit me in! I will go here in the future if needed. Nice customer service as well.

Took my 2019 Escape here after being screwed over by another shop. They not only looked over the other shops work, but were honest about the fact that they could not repair my transmission and recommended me to a transmission shop in Allendale.

Really appreciate the honesty after the not so great experience at the other shop. Only paid 1$150 for transmission fluid and diagnostics.

I echo everything that has been said already. Scott is great, super friendly and knowledgeable and everyone there really cares about their customers. I have been bringing my vehicles here for repairs for the last 3 years and each time has been a great experience. I have had simple things like oil changes and brakes done, and complex things like a brand new transmission installed. Great honest service with a good price which means a great value!

Very impressed with transparency and speed of service. Scott told me they were booked out about a week, but I could drop my car off and if they had time earlier they'd get to it.

Dropped my car off in the morning, it was diagnosed be noon, and then fixed before close. I came overstate how impressed I am with the combination of candor and flexibility.

They were fantastic. A little difficult to get in the first time I called but then when I called back they made it a point to get me on the schedule. We did two oil changes within a few days and service was excellent both visits. Waiting area was very clean and kid friendly which was very nice with having to bring a 2 year old in to. They did a great job!

I honestly can't believe I've never left a review for CARS yet?! My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to CARS for years and years. It is the only place we bring our vehicles to get work done actually. They are honest friendly people who do great quality work at a great price! It just doesn't get any better than that. They are 100% trustworthy and won't suggest you do anything that doesn't NEED to be done. They aren't pushy, and they understand circumstances and work with people! I would recommend CARS to anyone who wants to get quality work done, at a reasonable price, without repairing anything extra that your vehicle doesn't need! Also, I want to give a shout-out to Scott as well! We have talked to him everytime we call or come in. He obviously loves his job and enjoys helping people!

Basically grew up knowing this is were you take your car for great fast service. My grandpa would take his cars here when he didn't know how to fix it and it stayed in the family.y power steering belt fell off twice now and it has been less then a day to get it fixed both times. Now that I live in Kalamazoo I have no idea who to go to for my car needs because I am so used to seeing Scott for it.

We have been coming to CARS for over five years and have always been happy. Great customer service, integrity, and fast turnaround. I especially love that the offer local drop off or pick-ups to make being without your car easier. Highly recommended.

Quite simply the most professional and trusted mechanics I've ever dealt with. We have taken our vehicles to C.A.R.S. Auto Repair Service for close to five years and they have kept our aging cars running like new and in great repair without breaking the bank.

A local dealer offered us a "great deal" on a suspension repair about a year ago and we declined and took the vehicle to C.A.R.S. Not only did they perform the repairs for substantially less than the dealers "amazing discounted price" they found additional items that the dealer had missed and fixed them too - still well under budget.

I can not recommend them highly enough!

UPDATE: We have taken both our vehicles back for service over the last year (this is normal for us as we drive well used, older vehicles) and CARS continues to be fantastic!

We have taken our vehicles to CARS for several years now, and what I appreciate most is that they are so honest. We had a repair done, and within 3 months the car was making the same noises in the same area again. We brought it back and upon a quick inspection, CARS said the part they had used to replace the issue the first time had gone bad and they repaired it again for us for free! Kelly is so helpful and so friendly, she has literally become a friend of mine as I have had to wait for oil changes etc 😜
Scott and Denny are awesome! They have squeezed me into their tight schedule more than once, and I trust their judgement very much! Thank you CARS!

I dont think you'll find a better mechanic in West Michigan. Scott was honest, to the point, told me what I needed and what I didn't, and got me out the door on time. Excellent service center.

Been a customer at CARS for about 9 years and I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. I never have to wonder if a quote or recommendation is dishonest. They go out of their way to make sure you are getting the best price. I know I can rely on them to give me an honest opinion. They have always been up front regarding whether a repair is urgent or can wait awhile. From oil changes to hefty repairs I always feel I am getting the best service!

I really like this place. I was taking my car to another shop for the last couple of years. Recently ran into some issues with my Buick and was recommended a whole new engine at my last shop. Scott took a look at it and found 5 new codes not found at the last shop and was able to have it fixed in two days for way less than the cost of a new engine. Also recently had my tires rotates and breaks done there. Nothing but great things to say about their work and care.

I absolutely LOVE this place. My blazer needs a lot of work done and I don't trust anyone else to fix it. I have gone here multiple times even though there are multiple places that are closer to where I live. They are very honest and give you a fair price for the work. When I didn't have the money to fix my vehicle they helped me get a credit card that is only for them so I could pay for it. I have gone there about 5 times in the past couple years and every time I leave completely satisfied. Never have any problems!!

I recently moved into the Jenison community and I have always believed in supporting local businesses. I needed some work done on one of my vehicles and decided to take it to CARS. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Moreover, they did an excellent job on my vehicle repair and charged me a fair price. I am glad that CARS makes it easy for me to keep my longstanding belief that supporting your local businesses is one of the foundational pieces of having a thriving community.

They've always taken good care of my wife and my cars. They're honest in their repairs and assessments, do good work, happy to help, friendly..everything you need in a local mechanic. Once I had a car that was overheating. I didn't have time to mess with it so I dropped it off at CARS. A few hours later Scott called and said it was a loose radiator hose (doh!) and charged me about a half hour labor and the cost of replacement coolant. Could have told me any number of things and overcharged and I would have never known. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have been taking my cars to this service for almost 12 years. I have never been dissatisfied. Today they fixed the air conditioning on my truck while I waited and the charge was less than $100 when I was expecting to be charged a few hundred. They are my repair shop as long as they are in business and as long as I own a vehicle.

I used CARS for my auto repair recently after my son shared with me how well they have treated him. They did an amazing job with the odd repair I needed on my Ford Flex. Very honest to work with and a pleasure to work with. Will indeed use them again.
