This is a really cute park. It's very peaceful, clean and well maintained. I love the animal figures that someone has carved out of the old tree stumps. It's a great place to walk with your dog. I don't know if the arena to the west is a part of the park but it's also really well maintained and has beautiful trees around it.

A quaint little known nature park in a hidden spot, but slowly being encroached upon by recent new housing developments. Tons of wildlife and birds. The pond is full of large carp, ducks, muskrats. We saw a redwing blackbird, a yellow headed blackbird, and a garter snake. There are swallows and robin's aplenty. Clean modern restrooms which were open and well stocked. There is a large covered picnic area with plenty of tables. A collection of Wooden chainsaw sculptures and two historic buildings, a two seater outhouse and a small log building. The building was in poor shape inside and perhaps a bit hazardous. The roof was collapsing and there are rusted nails and spikes to look out for. A trail starts from about the center of the park and you can follow it out to the pond, but it has been partially overgrown. I will definitely return as there is a lot explore.

It's a nice peaceful place. Went for a walk by the pond. The trail is a little overgrown . But it was nice. There's a nice big grassy part which makes it perfect for playing fetch with the dogs.

Great place to walk your best friends (Dogs) and meet a rare park visitor.
Do explore the Nature Trail or take a sit on the covered picnic tables.
Friendly Horses that love to get an good ear scratching are right across the street (if you whistle for them), curious Cattle also!
The brand new restrooms are almost completed (Jan, 2015), no more port-a-potties (yeah!).
My only two negatives are that the drinking fountain is busted up and in need of repair and 2, bad citizens fill up the large trash containers with household garbage.
Hope to meet you there one day!

(sorry forgot to add the Zip code 84302 in there).

Picnic in the park. Walk along the trail. Wooden carvings of birds. Beautiful little park. Clean, well kept and we had it all to ourselves.
