This place was top notch the service was amazing the Brussels sprouts on the appetizer menu where the best definitely will return when I’m working in the area again it was definitely the best place I went all weekend long. Drinks were good and even the bar tender can sing with the songs playing really good. She should try an open mic night with a band playing.

Very cool place. The food was great. Service was wonderful, and most importantly, the beer selection was on point! The meatloaf was really good. I was quite impressed. The nachos were huge! Everything we ordered was very good! And BONUS... they sat our group in a private little room! We had zero complaints and would definitely go back!

The Cuban sandwich and empanadas were so delicious!! We made sure to tell the chef how happy we were. Paula was very friendly and got us fed quickly since we were hungry from the long drive into town. This will be our regular spot when we're in the area.

Good food, good beer, and good service at reasonable prices. The mushroom ravioli and fish and chips from the specials menu were great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it past the specials menu to try some of the smokehouse options but I look forward to coming back!

My wife and I love to find local breweries while traveling. Moat mountain came recommended by another local vendor, and I was totally in the mood for BBQ, so it was a must hit.

Starting with food: The BBQ was amazing. The meat was tender, the sauce flavorful and the ratio between the two was perfect. The portion size was insane for the price! I'd love to tell you how amazing the mashed potatoes were, but I didn't have the room to eat them. And if you want to talk about variety. They had everyrhing from standard pub food to hand-roll gnocchi... Who expects that in a bar? And it was amazing!

The Brews: We order that sampler, which was one of every house beer... All but the IPAs (which I generally tend to hate) were off the hook! We got a couple cans, and a growler to go. Neither the cans or the growler survived the weekend. Everything was amazing! I'm looking forward to going back!

Is 8 hours too long of a drive for dinner? Honestly, for that beer... NO! See you guys in the fall!

Loved visiting moat mountain, staff was super friendly, and I swear it was easily the best pastrami I've ever eaten. Nachos were large portions and delicious as well. Can't forget the beer! Was also great. Will definitely come back

The best place to eat in North Conway. The food is absolutely delicious! Jimmy is an extraordinarily positive addition to the overall experience of dining here. He manages the restaurant with finesse. He greets each person like they are the most important person there. I highly recommend eating here. Paul and Leigh Toole

Everyone working Moat Saturday night 12/27 were just incredible. We checked in with the hostess, got seated earlier than expected by a thoughtful manager, our waitress was attentive , and the kitchen had the most incredible food. All of this and the place was entirely packed. We have come to make this a scheduled stop whenever we travel north. Thanks everyone

We go there often. Beer is excellent. Food awesome. Bar and wait staff are super.

Paula was our server tonight. A true professional and so friendly. She was so helpful and to cap it off, we forgot and left a vest behind. Paula came running out to us at our car to bring it to us.

You don’t get that kind of old fashioned friendly service anywhere now a days. We were shocked and appreciative.

With people like Paula on staff you can’t go wrong!!!!!

Moat is fabulous !

Been coming here for 10
Years and never had any experiences less than 5 stars!!!

They did take out for my family 9 meals so we could celebrate some birthdays at home with my mom who just had surgery. Food was amazing and ready when they said it would be.

My cousin, who is local, recommended this place to us and she did NOT disappoint! We waited a considerable amount of time but this was to be expected with a party of 15! So no complaints there.
The parking situation was ample despite this being a peak time for them.
Our server, Taryn or Taran (my apologies for not knowing the correct spelling) was FANTASTIC and should be applauded for her efforts! She handled our party of 15 (including 4 separate checks) flawlessly. She never got frazzled with our large group. She took care of my kids first to make sure they were happy, then she took our drink order to make sure the adults were happy. Other staff also delivered refills or dishes, and they were friendly and professional.
The beer was cold and delicious. I heard many positive comments about the drinks from my family members. We took a 4 pack home with us too; the Iron Mike was a very good beer.
My kids had the hot dogs and fries, and they were happy. I had the brisket sandwich. It was one of those sandwiches where I became sad as I approached the end of it. Like when you get to the end of a good book you’re kinda bummed that it’s over. Like “what am I gonna do NOW?”
My wife had the longhorn brisket nachos, and she couldn’t even finish them! Portions exceeded expectations.
I had the chili, and my only regret is not asking them to fill a 5 gallon bucket so I could take this chili home with me. Perfect blend of heat and flavor. This chili exploded with deliciousness. I tried to go back before our trip was over but the timing never allowed it.
Their bathrooms were clean, good job maintaining those even during a busy night. I heard the staff saying “corner” or “behind” to prevent collisions and spills. Well trained and professional crew they have there.
We had a very positive experience at Moat Mountain, and I would love to come back the next time we are out east. Thank you for a job well done.

PAULA served us today! She was very attentive and super nice to us. She would always ask how things were. Recommend blueberry and Asian beer! Food was good.
I had the ribeye and my wife had the pork sliders. Ribeye looked good from the outside. Had asked for it to be medium rare and more on the medium side. Not Paula’s fault. I guess they wanted to make sure the steak had grill marks, don’t think it was worth $36.99 though, especially for how THIN the steak was. Maybe $25-30. Wife’s food was good and definitely worth the $16.99. Would consider coming back when we come up to the area and maybe I’ll try the salads instead. Thanks Paula!

Heard about this place from diners drive ins and dives. So glad we stopped in. The brisket empanadas were delicious but didn’t really have much of a mushroom flavor. The long horn nachos were the bomb! You can get beer to go too which is cool. Everything on the menu looked so good. I’m sure there isn’t a single dish that would disappoint

Super delicious food with so many gluten free options you don’t even feel like you have to order anything unusual. My husband and I split a BBQ platter and were absolutely stuffed AND took some home for the next day. I can’t do cross contamination and had no issues. We sat at the bar and it was a really relaxed vibe.

It's absolutely incredible!!! Great food and service! We would definitely go back! The food was perfect and fresh. You can tell they take pride in the restaurant. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. There are so many good things to say the building and gardens were beautiful. It's just delightful all around! 😊

Been coming here every year they've opened, and it's always a highlight. Both the beer and food are amazing - they have one of my favorite brown ales of all time! Get the brussel sprouts if you have the chance. It's always busy so there will likely be a (reasonable) wait, but it's well worth it. Service is great.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time!! Finally got the opportunity too. They have a large selection of their own beer but also others and a full bar. Pretty unique for a brew house! Also have an extended menu and smokehouse menu. We got the nachos since we went mid-afternoon and they’ were very good! The flight to try all their regular beers was a great deal with 8 samples for $15 and then take homes were only $10-12 for a 4 pack! The miss v blueberry beer was the best I’ve ever had.

Such a fantastic place to eat! Got a barbecue burger which was perfectly done, large and delicious. The portions were greatly sized and the menu had some excellent selections. The waitress was both helpful and fun. The atmosphere is also fantastic with that brewery style classic American eatery vibe. 100% would recommend!
