We finally made it! Today we enjoyed the Troublemaker Burger Bowl, Steak and Carnitas Tacos, a classic chicken sandwich, and a tray of mixed fries with their delicious version of fry sauce. My favorite thing was the burger bowl—the chili was so good and it had just the right amount of spice. The regular and sweet potato fries and fry sauce were amazing too! My family loved the tacos. Everything was so fresh. We’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!

You guys. If you're in the Downtown area of SLC and need some good quality, decently priced food (and free parking on site!) check out Diversion! It's a great little place to chill, sip a while, and enjoy great eats!

🥤 Free refills! The server comes to your table and asks if you would like a refill. They have Coke products (and DP/DDP), water, and citrus water options.
🍻 Diversion offers alcoholic beverages and they do ID.
🍕 I ordered the BBQ Pork Pizza and it didn't disappoint. I am not gluten-free, but I love thinner crusts on my pizza. Diversion offers a cauliflower crust, but it doesn't taste like cauliflower and it had just enough crunch for me.
🌮 Their tacos are not little. 2 was plenty for my friend. She got the steak tacos and loved them, and said they had good flavor.
🍔 Their burgers are "burger bowls" where they shape the patty into a bowl shape and put all the sauces and cheese and toppings inside.
🍟 Fries and other sides are not included with entrees (order separately). My friend who ordered the burger got sweet potato fries as a side and there were at least two "medium" portions!

This place was super tasty!!!!! My daughter and friends shared a pizza, which they said was delicious. The fries were hands down awesome!!! The seasoning on them was so good. Also I had the Gorg burger and it was one I definitely want to go back and try again!!! Service was perfect, they were friendly, food was hot, and great atmosphere

Wow! The food at Diversion - A Social Eatery was absolutely fantastic. We sampled all kinds of food from the menu and there was not anything that disappointed us. Everything was delicious and there was tons of it. We ate on the patio and it was lovely. Great recipes! Highly recommended!

When it's comes to Pizza Diversion knows what's up! Their pizza crust is light, has a great chew AND an awesome crunch, you rarely find all 3 together.

The Combo Pizza was Super yummy loaded with Pepperoni, Sausage, mushrooms, red onion, green peppers and basil!
My Fav out of the two.

The BBQ Pork Pizza was also delicious loaded with Carnitas, jalapeños, tomatoes, red onion and Cilantro Ranch.

2 - 10" pizzas were plenty enough to share. It was hard to stop eating though when full, because everything was so damn good!! 👏👏

We flew into SLC on our way to Yellowstone and needed a kid friendly lunch spot. Wow! Diversion was an amazing choice. We were welcomed like family and treated as honored guests. The menu was comfort food with a twist and it did not disappoint. My burger salad was delicious, husband’s burger was juicy and flavorful, and everyone ate with relish! The kid’s menu was also great. I think we ordered everything on it, and the kids devoured it all. This is definitely a place that I would be a regular customer if I lived in the area. Thanks, everyone at Diversion, for starting our Utah experience in such a wonderful way.

We tried Diversion for the first time, we got the cowboy pizza and poutine, the pizza had plenty of great toppings I loved the sausage it has a little spice to it, we added olives the sauce had a great fresh flavor, the whole pizza was delicious! The poutine was amazing, the fries were still crispy, the cheese curds were melty and in between the fries so it got on all of them the gravy was so flavorful. plenty of beer and drink choices, the service was amazing, we were checked on several times to make sure everything was ok, such a cool place, Can't wait to go back and try bunch.

I miss enjoying great food back in California, but finding great replacements like the Diversion Social Eatery makes it worth searching for. There is so much to try on their menu! Just a reminder that its a smaller joint with a list of orders so expect a wait (which isn't an issue for me). Their burger bowls are awesome, they curve the patties into a bowl shape and pile it all sorts of good stuff in there! I got the Gorg burger bowl which has bacon, gorgonzola cheese, sautéed onions in the patty, lettuce & tomato and Chipotle mayo. And because they have daily specials I tried their tacos because its taco Tuesday. I tried three tacos: steak, salmon, and portobello mushroom taco and surprisingly my favorite was the mushroom taco! Definitely coming back to try more of their diverse menu!

I’ve been here a few times over the last couple months (found it by going to Möge Tea next door), and can’t say enough good things about this place! The Gorg is the best blue burger I’ve had this year. Perfectly cooked, bowl shape kept all the toppings together, and super juicy.
Previously got the smoked salmon pizza (locally smoked!) and it’s killer! The lemon with it is bright.
If wings are on the menu, I always get them first; wings are my favorite food 😂. Sooooooo good! Crispyyyy.

Friendly staff, have had long good conversations with a few of them.

Anyways I could go on, but I’m definitely going to keep bringing friends over here to hang and have fantastic food. 10/10 would eat the entire menu again 😂

I was here for a repair and ended up having lunch.. I had a burger here I got to say it was by far one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I can't remember the exact name but it I had blue cheese and bacon. It is delicious. The fries are really good as well. Very clean, very friendly staff. I definitely will be back for that burger. Quality food and a great atmosphere.

Eating here is a spiritual experience. The burgers are delicious and the fries are literally some of the best I've had in my entire life. Cassie is a fun hostess and the place is full of conversation starters and games.

If you live in Salt Lake you HAVE to come to this place; even from Provo or Orem. Worth the driving. Tacos, pizzas and burgers are out from this world... they also have vegan food. Vegetarian Pizza is like.... an imported from the south of Italy... very happy to know this place. I can't wait to come and continue tasting their menu

Amazing food, tons of Keto options.
Almost all the food has keto alternatives, and its really is amazing, so flavorful. The cauliflower crust is so good that i had to double check that i got the right food. The staff is very friendly and the services is perfect. Would highly recommend.

Excellent dining establishment. Great, quick service. Buffalo wings were top notch and the honey BBQ were great as well. Wings were cooked perfectly. Nachos were the real winner here, though. Pretty classic nacho arrangement, so if you like nachos, you have to try these!

We had a great time at Diversion! They had a live band the night we were there. The staff is so attentive and courteous! Yummy drinks! We loved the honey BBQ wings we had and the fries. Cookies and milk for dessert. YUM!

A very pleasant surprise, Quentin was super friendly, great at small talk and took out orders with a great efficiency. We didn't have to wait long for our food came out quick hot and fantastic, super delicious and filling, 10 out of 10 would recommend, Even got a mint!

Came here today for a work lunch with my whole team. It was delicious. One of us has celiacs. He ordered the cauliflower pizza and loved it. I ordered carnitas tacos. They aren’t street tacos, but the meat was delicious. I had a bite of the burger and the meat was delicious. Great flavor. We split a couple sides of fries. Those were heavenly. Everyone raves about them. So glad we have a new place to eat nearby.

Fresh and tasty food!! Their burgers are great and today I tried something different: BBQ Pork Pizza on Cauliflower Crust along with a side of 5 wings. The pizza is delicious and tastes really fresh-the crust is awesome! The wings are cooked perfectly!

Another bonus is that the staff is really friendly and welcoming. I ordered online and picked up since I'm close but you can also dine in or order to have food delivered (Postmates, Doordash, etc). Great place, great people, great food!

Diversion. A Social Eayery. EXCELLENT place to come and eat excellent, well thought out comfort food recipes. They don't fry their fries in hot fat, they are air cooked to the perfect crispy outside, and smooth inside; just the way fries should be served. They topped the Poutine fries with the most tasty brown gravy that would make your body do a happy food jig! One of the other Yelpers stated she wanted some for her Thanksgiving day dinner. Can't blame her, it's that good! Their burgers are phenomenal! The buns were toasted to perfection! I love biting into a toasted bun with onion, tomato, ñ burger. Juuuust right! They served us Pizza! The hand tossed crust was perfectly baked enough to hold the toppings on the pizza. The oven was hot enough to put a crisp on this crust that made it good enough to eat all of the crust. The end of the pizza is my favorite part of a yummy piece of pizza. They served us Pepperoni baked to perfection. The Barbeque Chicken Pizza has the perfect tangy to subtle sweetness flavor in the sauce with perfectly cooked pieces of chicken throughout. They served a Vegetarian Pizza topped with a Jalapeño Sour Cream. The atmosphere is down to earth friendly. They have an awesome collection of music artwork throughout the build. They are Utensils Fans and proudly display the U of U sign. They have big screen TV's, where you can watch your games too. Although they offer cocktails, Diversion seems like a fun place to bring your family. They offer all kinds of games for couples, and families to come and play a game or two. I'm going to bring my date next time and challenge him to a game. Diversion is located on 500 North 300 West. Across from the Library. The neighborhood is my old stomping ground of which I loved very much when I lived there. The neighborhood is blossoming!! Come check out Diversion, come to the library. Come see the fantastic changes in this beautiful neighborhood. Diversion. I got the Western Burger with no Mushrooms and Tomatoes but I added Guac [with a side of fries]. The Meal and service were amazing! For the meal I had, I give it a 10/10!
