Mt. View Park

Fun open redesigned park with lots of shade & grass space. Right by trail.

What a cute, little, uncrowded family park. This place has everything you need to have a great time. Super cool, old school swing sets and slides. Built to last with metal and wood. Beautiful tall Spruce and Japanese Maple trees for shade and ambiance. Two large covered picnic table areas. Volleyball Court and a great Nature trail up to the canal road. Bathrooms were locked, so please open them! Lots of birds along the trail and around the park. Quails and Robins. Green manicured hills for rolling down or spreading a blanket and having a picnic! This is a historic place used back in 1899 as a Ward Meeting Hall.

This is the park our children would always pick to come to when they were little, because it was the only one in the area with swings and they also loved the old school playground over the newer plastic ones at the other parks.

It is a very quiet park. There aren't very many people who come to it. It is well taken care of by the city. There is a bit of shade and a playground for kids. The swings are heavy duty and still in good shape.

The park as a whole is pretty small but fun. This is a good place to walk to if you live close but if you are going to drive to a park then I would recommend somewhere else.

A medium-small sized park and the equipment isn't new, but it does have 2 separate sets of playground equipment (a smaller one that is lower to the ground and a larger one a little further up the hill). it also has 2 small covered pavilions with picnic tables, several benches, a sand volleyball court, and a small nature trail that goes up the hill behind it.

It has (what appears to be vault) bathrooms, but I'm not sure when they are open (I haven't personally seen them open). Well kept overall, with nice grass and landscaping. Bigger than it first looks!
