Dr Amberg's office is a joke. I went there with my wife as her gums were bleeding during pregnancy. I just wanted the dentist to give her a regular cleaning. The dentist saw that i had dental coverage and kept forcing us to have one procedure after another. Initially she said only a cleaning is needed...but she choose to do a scaling first.
Then she said deep cleaning is needed...then she said fillings are needed...the list went on and on.
Eventually she sent ridiculous bills to the insurance company and even after the insurance payments(we have a good PPO plan) we still had a due of more than $600.
This practice is a scam ....please stay away.

Both times I had an appointment, the office door was locked or there was no one there when I got there. I had to wait at least 15-30 minutes after my appointment time for an employee to arrive at the office. Dr Amberg ignored my initial description of tooth pain and then later asked me if the tooth I had already talked about hurt. Not a good experience.

Better stay away from Dr Amberg's office .She will check initially and keeps on adding deep cleaning, some extra procedure , filling ..etc etc with out giving much details . And warns if it is not done it is dangerous Her charges are very high. She wont spend 10 mins per visit but she will charge you around 250$ to pay from your pocket with these procedure names .Of course she bills the insurance as well. I have a good dental plan but still I had to pay $572 for my cleanings.
please stay away. Never ever go to her

Doesn't even deserve one star! WOULD'NT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! She's horrible, unsanitary clinic there was ALWAYS blood and spit left in the sink from the previous patient, and ALWAYS trying to get money out of you. Very rough with medical equipment, left this clinic and she took her sweet time forwarding my information to the new clinic I now go to. She even charged me to forward my information. Perfect example of constantly trying to get money from her patients.

I called the office to get some information and after hanging up looked at the Google reviews. Not at all surprised to find a 2.5 star rating. The person who answered the phone all but hung up on me, it was as if she was trying to get me NOT to come into the office. All I did was ask for information (having done my homework with my insurance company) and every answer was "no" or "I don't" or "I won't". Even if I could have made an appointment (which I couldn't due to time constraints) I wouldn't have JUST because of this woman. Awful. Good luck if you call here.

All the bad reviews are correct. She insisted again and again to add this, add that, add something else, crown over a simple cavity, on and on. Pumping up the billables. Rushed. I wish I read the reviews prior to going. Honestly I don’t see how some gave more than one star. Must be family.

The most unprofessional and pathetic dentist i ever visited. Even despite having my appointment or without informing they closed clinic. I went to their office and did not open the doors.

Would never ever recommend that unprofessional Doctor to any one

Very dissatisfied for someone who takes care of their teeth 100% I truly don't feel she knows what she's doing

u wait for ever and I had to fight with the staff and her to be reimbursed for an over payment, she needs new office staff and a watch
