My husband and I decided to stop here when we were in the area for other things as we liked the selection we saw they offered online.

We walked inside and the smell was SO enticing and the overall feel reminded us of our favorite small-town restaurant that unfortunately closed it's doors a few years ago! It was heaven!

We ordered mozzarella sticks, two types & sizes of pizza, and a chicken Caesar salad... all of which was delicious!! The mozzarella sticks were delicious, the chicken on the salad was more flavor packed than expected, the lettuce was top quality, the dressing was perfect - not too much or too little, and the pizzas were perfectly topped with a delicious flavor! A bit doughy tasting but still delicious!

The staff was incredibly patient with my husband's multiple questions and so friendly and ready to help - despite it seeming as though business was picking up!

Everything about this place was just great! Our new favorite "hole-in-the-wall" type place!

HIGHLY recommend! Can't wait to go back with our daughter next time! :)

Been coming here for years, have tried several different items on the menu and they have all been fantastic. What I love most about the place is that when you walk in, it instantly feels like the "neighborhood pizza joint" its just a good comforting atmosphere almost like you're friends with everyone that works there. Prices are right in line with today's economy, no better, no worse than any other place. If you want a $5 pie go try out Lil' Caesars, if you want a quality pie come to Charlies. Their signature dish in my opinion is the BBQ chicken pizza, you just can't go wrong.

What would a review be without some constructive criticism? My only suggestion for improvement would be to have website where we can see the menu or add some sort of online ordering platform for convenience but at the same time, I don't know if I really want them to have it....I respect how they run the business now, old school. You want a pie, you call 'em up and do it. I see some folks on here complained about not being able to pay over the phone. Hate to tell ya but typing in credit card numbers cost the business more money in fees and it puts YOUR security at risk. What they're doing now works, no fancy POS, no printers, just write it on the slip, hand it back to the kitchen. Be happy they aren't cash only ;)

I am sure the food is great as well, however I am leaving a review about the service. My truck broke out front of their restaurant on a day they were closed. Even so the owner came out and assisted me in any way possible, eventually providing the idea to fix my problem. 10/10 great people!

The Stuffed Shells were awesome!!! Meatballs and their homemade marinara sauce was to die for!!! Soooooo yummmy. My husband had never been here and he had a Steak sub that was also sooooooooo yummy!!! If you have never eaten at Charlie’s you have to go….. it will be so delicious!!!!

My husband and I moved here a year ago and we absolutely LOVE Charlie’s! The people are so kind, the food is always a hit! My husband just ordered the Charlie’s House Special pizza, now I usually don’t like pizza but that was literally the best friggen pizza I’ve ever had!!! We are such Charlie fans we haven’t tried any other restaurants like it.

Great food and good size portions. Really friendly and helpful crew. Get the Steak tip Cesar, best one anywhere around. love this place.

OUTSTANDING FOOD! Charlie & Staff are super nice, polite & super helpful! I worked Full time in Boston, Mass. years ago when there were real places to eat owned by real human beings, instead of global Corporation ownership. During this time in Boston, there were multiple family owned Sub Shops where the atmosphere was wonderful. ALL Owners were delighted to see his/ her customers & foood was impeccable! Fresh, hot ingredients & plenty of them. At this time in Boston, there were no puny servings of half cold/ HOT sandwiches with few bits of ingredients inside. I have been longing for fabulous Steak & Cheese sub for long, long, long time. I have finally found MY HAPPY SUB/ PIZZA SHOP - its name is CHARLIE's. I have (2) favorite Sub sandwiches: steak & cheese (sometimes with other toppings) & Meatballs with melted cheese on top. I have eaten @ Charlie's about (4) times now, ordering the SUPER DELIGHTFUL Steak & Cheese, large with Extra Cheese. OH MY GAWD! Beyond delightful. So similar to Steak & Cheese (S & C) subs from old Boston. This is a real feat to be sure! So, let me tell you about the S &C sandwich here @ Charlie's. Super soft, white (inside) sub roll with bit crispy outside filled to brim with HOT, gooey, creamy White American cheese served super hot off the grill in just short space of time. Oh my GOD! I should really order a SMALL considering actual LARGE is like eating a US battleship!! However, I get inside this store & large S&C's are invariably wafting past me. OOOH!! the aroma! This sandwich seems to do this A LOT in Charlie's & I fall. I am weak. So weak, for this dreamy, hot S & C sub sandwich from my youth. One day I will try a Meatball Sub but for now I am so ensconced in the S & C Sub that I cannot think of anything else once I enter this store. I was recently telling my (82) yr. old friend about Charlie's & she is dying to go there. She loves pizza & the works too! So, while I know there are other wonderful creations in this very clean, local sub shop & I look over his menu everytime & then fall for the S&C in this adorable shop. Like it calls to me, oh my gawd! One day perhaps, I will break free of this S & C hold over me & try different sub sandwich, but for now I am S & C devotee @ Charlie's. Thank you all, for my great sandwiches! For your super nice/ patient counter help! So very, very great there! WOnderful overall. Eat @ Charlie's! Often!

I've loved Charlie's for a long time now and they never seem to disappoint with their steak and cheese subs and the steak tip subs

The food was great. Large portions. Food was ready for pickup in 20 minutes like they said. Super friendly people working there.

Me and my wife love our chicken fingers and for the first time going their they have the best food ever. I will definitely be coming back. Can't believe it took me this long to go but this is now a good to place

Been our favorite pizza place for the last 2 years I don’t know why we haven’t tried it sooner!!! We go at least once week for take out have never had a bad experience. Not always east to get three on the phone but that’s because it’s that dam good. Buffalo pizza and onion rings are my favorite.

So I walk in and order 2 loaded cheesesteaks, guy at the counter says give us 5 minutes . 5 minutes? That had me worried. How are you doing that in 5 minutes and it's going to be a quality sub? Well let me tell you when I got to the car my wife took a bite of hers and said it was the best cheesesteak she ever had. I laughed and said stop it, it was made in under 5 minutes. After demanding I try mine I couldn't believe how good it was. The bread was super fresh, peppers, onions and mushrooms grilled perfect, the steak was cooked and seasoned perfect and the melt on the cheese was perfect! Definitely coming back! Charlie's is the real deal!

My husband got a small pizza and I ordered the tips dinner. I get the tips whenever I go there because they are great! They outdid themselves today. The tips were the most tender ones I have ever had. Cooked perfectly. Better than any steakhouse!! Perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned. And they melted in my mouth.

After several people telling me I needed to try this place I went there for lunch today. I got the steak special sub with mayo and no peppers, and I was not disappointed. It was the best steak n cheese I've had in a long time. The price was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend it.

Ordered for the first time tonight the calzone was amazing . The ziti was great as well. Great price as well.

Yesterday was employee appreciation day at my work and I wanted to get everyone lunch. It was also an insanely busy day and it ended up being 20mins before lunch break before I had a second to call in the order. I explained to them what time we go to lunch, apologized, and asked for whatever the best the could do. They told me 20 mins was unlikely but they'd do their best. Well, they were there in 25 mins. INCREDIBLE service. Everyone enjoyed their food. Thank you so much!

If I could give them 10/10 I would. We are regulars and enjoy absolutely everything but the Large pepperoni pizza is to die for. I say large because for some reason when you get a small it doesn’t taste the same. I even had my neighbor do a taste test. It’s good don’t get me wrong but the large just has the perfect amount of everything and just melts. If you know what I mean you know. Ha
Charlie’s always goes above and beyond in all areas. Delivery drivers are always so nice and respectful also.
