Hannaford

Hannaford felt like our hometown grocery store even though we were a thousand miles from home. The produce is great, so fresh and tasty! Everything we could get at our home grocer was available here as well. They even had many options (gluten-free and vegan) that we couldn't find at home. It's nice to find a gem like that when you are on the road and home sick!

Hannaford is a great place to shop for a variety of reasons. First of all, they offer good prices on a wide range of items, from groceries to household essentials. Second, their stores are clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. Third, the staff are very polite and helpful when needed, providing excellent customer service. Hannaford is a reliable and trustworthy retailer that I would recommend to anyone looking for quality and value.

Great shopping experience. Really nice seafood counter. Rich in that department was phenomenal.

Clean, wide open spaces, produce was near perfection and there were plenty of cashiers. The parking lot is a strange layout.

I used Hannaford To - Go and had a wonderful experience! First of all, the groceries got to me within hours. I did not check my receipt well as I had just a few items. Turns out, I was called approximately 5 days later and asked about my order. The associate who contacted me, said I was charged just over $3 for another patron's apples. They got the apples, but I paid for them and she was calling me to inform me that the store wanted to remedy this and refund my money. I received a handwritten apology along with a gift card that happened to be for more than the $3, for my time and the inconvenience. They just gained a very loyal customer for this location! Customer service was great!! Highly recommend!

Got a whole chicken 99¢ per lb. So made beer can chicken - delicious 😋

Found a new Pinot grigio. Something farms....it was very good. Definitely on the good list.

Had what I needed.
Update: the last 2 or 3 weeks didn't have a fish monger in the seafood department. I prefer to have my seafood in a bag over grab and go.

The staff member in the fish market was so helpful! He answered all my questions and made really great recommendations. It was nice that he cared - and the shrimp I got were delicious!

Nice store compare to other similar stores. Very big, well stocked and clean. If it were closer, it would be my weekly shopper.

Quality is their top priority, and you never have to question that. some things are a little pricier....but they are well worth it!!

I really don't like saying this, mainly because I'm not a complainer and totally get that life happens, but… I am finding myself going elsewhere to do grocery shopping the majority of my time now. The quality remains the same, top notch. However, the overall attitude and vibe from employees is just downright cold a lot of times. Rarely does the cashier get you when your at register, and if they do its a thoughtless one. When I go in I say hello to the cashier 9 times got a 10. Another big thing for me is the bagging. They used to be amazing and they understood how to properly bag groceries, not so much anymore. I leave the store with quadruple the amount of bags that I needed because only 2 to 3 items are being put in each bag. I've likely asked them to bag more items in each bag, maybe a handful actually did it. It's such a waste of resources and a drain on the environment.. Not to mention what is being packed in each bag. Eggs and canned goods do not go good with one another just like bread and a gallon of milk do not go in the bag with one another. It's not rocket science, but come on. Why would anyone put something squishable in with canned goods?! As I pointed out before, I really don't like leaving a review like this but it has been earned over quite some time now:( I really wish it was not :(

The aisles are wide. The raceways are wide.The Dover store is designed to incite fistfights, it is so crowded by design.
This store was a breath of bliss.

This store is always clean and well stocked. Mandating masks tells me they care about their employees AND their customers.

The pre-made food is always fresh with great taste! The employees are always really friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend this store. It’s a pleasant shopping experience all around.

Our neighborhood store. Clean, well stocked. No mask mandate, but almost everyone is masked. Best fresh produce, bakery & meat. Runs about $.50 more per item over Market Basket, but worth it on the produce & meat items. This store does have a pharmacy.
